;D Well let me be one of the 1st to post a note on this board so that I can become a "Plank Owner". Fathers Day came and I received a new toy for my computer. I now have a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, 22" wide screen monitor. I did a lot of research on monitors during the past month and this seems to be the very best for the money spent. I read a lot of the reviews on the web and this model gets very high marks. Besides, this one was a lot less expensive than all the other makes and models. It has a true 2ms grey to grey response time and a whole bunch of settings on the menue. The monitor has no built in speakers so I guess there is room to add a few other goodies. If I had only known (famous last words) that a wide screen could be so good, I would have had one long ago. My ISP are still falling on their dupas again. DSL is still not available and the web pages I visit today are loading very slowley. Maybe I should send AT&t and Verizon a set of plans on how to invent the wheel. LOL ;D

Good monitor, Bob! I have a Samsung SyncMaster 172T, about 2 years old or more, not as good as yours but I'm very happy with it and will buy the same brand again next time.

Bob & Scatts,
I have the 753DF SyncMaster. Have been enjoying it for a number of years now. Just won a bid on a Samsung 21" LCD. That should be here in about a week.
Samsung makes a darn good product. They perform flawlessly.

;D Scatts and John the Just. When the Samsung electronic equipment first came on the market , it was sold in low end stores (K-Mart, Walmart, Etc.) but now they are putting out some very serious equipment. At least they are not charging a premium price for name recognition. ;D
