Yes, we did watch the incident as it unfolded from the beginning of the day, to lift off, to then the disaster. It was all so unfortionant with later cause as we understand, seals in the assist rocket failed from the night time cold.
A very sad ending for a very brave crew in the prime of their respective careers.

A very sad ending for a very brave crew in the prime of their respective careers. Karl I was in Trinidad and Tobago on business when this happened. It was very frustrating to hear some of the locals talk of this. I became somewhat teary eyed and a local woman asked why. I told her it was not every day that your daughters teacher dies in such a spectacular manner. She was much loved.
