Saudi Arabia has 100,000 air-conditioned tents sitting empty, still won’t take Syrian refugees
By Kellan Howell - The Washington Times - Tuesday, September 15, 2015 As Saudi Arabia faces mounting criticism for refusing to take in any of the millions of Syrians fleeing conflict in their homeland, it was revealed this weekend that the country has over 100,000 empty, air-conditioned tents that could house up to 3 million refugees. The tents, located roughly 2,150 miles from Syria in the city of Mina, are only used a few days a year to house pilgrims on their way to Mecca for the hajj, the news station TeleSUR reported. The huge tents are also fireproof and equipped with kitchen and bathroom facilities. But while Europe struggles to find space to take in the millions of asylum seekers making the perilous journey there, Saudi Arabia has been largely unresponsive to the crisis. According to the to the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), there are about 500,000 Syrians living in Saudi Arabia, but they are not classified as asylum seekers and it is not known when they arrived in the country. Other reports indicate that Saudi Arabia has not taken in any new refugees, along with Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. No Gulf country has signed the U.N. Convention on Refugees, an accord standardizing the level of treatment of people fleeing to new countries. Saudi authorities insist they had done all they can to support refugees by allowing them residency in the country, but say they do not brag about their support to the media. "[The kingdom] was keep to not deal with them as refugees or to put them in refugee camps," said one Saudi spokesman Friday, Reuters reported, adding they did so to "preserve their dignity and safety and gave them complete freedom of movement." The representative added that Saudi Arabia has given $700 million in humanitarian aid to Syrians. Last week Saudi officials offered to build 200 new mosques in Germany to accommodate Muslim refugees. © Copyright 2015 The Washington Times, LLC. Reuters reports that Serbia says it has been informed by Hungary that the Roszke-Horgos border crossing will be closed for the next 30 days.

Jon, I agree that Saudi Arabia's behavior cannot be excused. They should at least try to help these people a bit. Saudi Arabia has 100,000 air-conditioned tents sitting empty, still won’t take Syrian refugees

Muslim Petitions To Cancel Oktoberfest In Germany As Munich Police Plan To Keep Refugees and Revelers Apart
2015-09-16 19:39 If you needed any more proof that the muslim invasion aka caliphate is coming…this is it: A muslim man put up a petition on the internet to BAN Oktoberfest in Munich: Ban the Intolerant and Anti-Islamic event of Oktoberfest Dear City council of Munich, I am writing this letter to bring to your attention something that I and many Muslims believe is unfair and requires attention. I would like to inform you that the Oktoberfest is an Intolerant and Anti-Islamic event. We tried to ignore the event, but there too many Un-Islamic acts done at the Oktoberfest. Such as alcohol consumption, public nudity etc. We understand that the Oktoberfest is a yearly German tradition, but we, Muslims, can not tolerate this Un-Islamic event, because it offends us and all Muslims on the earth. We are requesting the immediate cancellation of the upcoming Oktoberfest event. We also believe that the Oktoberfest might also offend all the Muslim refugees coming from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan. The cancellation of the Oktoberfest event will help refugees not to forget their Islamic history. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Morad Almuradi The petition is asking for 500 signatures and has received over 200. There is talk of what to do during Oktoberfest this year to keep the groups from clashing. This really is a recipe for disaster! Please read the below accounts from Munich that are really frightening: Munich Police Ready for the Challenge of Refugees And Revelers Arriving Together: Munich’s police force is ready for Oktoberfest 2015. Five-hundred police officers will be on hand to provide security and ensure order in and around the festival area, it was announced at a press conference in Munich on Tuesday. “We are taking all the necessary precautions, just as we do every year,” said the city’s administrator chief Wilfried Blume-Beyerle. “Reports of a crisis situation are simply false.” Just the same, the fact that revelers and refugees will be arriving at Munich Central Station simultaneously poses a challenge. As many as 40,000 refugees arrived in the Bavarian capital over the past two weekends. Blume-Beyerle said that during Oktoberfest, the two groups will be directed out of the station separately, the refugees to the north, the Oktoberfest visitors to the south. But now that border controls have been reintroduced and trains carrying refugees are being rerouted past Munich, authorities do not expect welcome the same numbers as in recent weeks. “But if it turns out that way, we’ll manage,” said Senior Police Director Werner Feiler. The 182nd Oktoberfest starts on Saturday and the city expects to see roughly six million visitors before it ends on October 4. Munich Is At Capacity And The Strain Is Showing “Munich has reached its limit,” Mayor Dieter Reiter told a press conference on Saturday, saying that his city was trying its best to manage the enormous influx of people. “We have had 3,600 refugees coming in by 10:30 this morning,” Christoph Hillenbrand, district president of Upper Bavaria, told journalists. “This is the largest number of refugees we have had at this time of the day until now.” He said that officials expected about 10,000 applicants for asylum to reach the southern German city on Saturday, but that there was allocated space for only half that many. Hillenbrand said officials had no idea how they would create beds for the 5,000 people left without access to “buses, trains or any free space” on Saturday evening. The only hope can come from Bavaria’s neighbors, who can use the state’s example and take their share of the responsibility for accommodating applicants for asylum. A ‘national problem’ Strain is now slowly showing. Many in Munich say Germany must help those in need, but a feeling of fear has replaced the initial euphoria that marked the mood when trains full of migrants began arriving last week. “I am shocked because so many refugees are coming,” said a woman in her mid-50s who has been volunteering since last week. “But one must help,” she added.

One voice from one man means not every one. The fellow is a nut and should be considered as so. What may be a cause and effect situation leading to an issue with this though. For now, the Bavarians have some ground for a foundation of argument against the recent issue against the currant programme on immigrants entering Germany.
It just appears as we over come one storm, then another pops up out of the blue...

Dear Jaga and other Forum friends, The West don't understand the mindset of Saoudi Arabia and Arab countries. They will do everything to protect their own status quo, clan, tribe and kingdom. If they would accept millions of Syrians and Iraqi's that would change the fabric of their nation, their Wahhabist ( Salafist) direction within the Sunni-Muslim Islam, the position of the Saoudi royal house, and again the tribes of Saoudi Arabia. Saoudi Arabia doesn't want to import the Syrian- and Iraqi conflicts. I may sound harsh and unhumanistic, but I believe that that is in the mindset of the Saoudi's. The Saoudi's don't want a Palestine/ Israel, Libya, Yemen, Chechenia, Algeria, the Egyptian Sinai, Kurdistan, nor do they want French banlieue's ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banlieue ), European getto's, and thus the European style troubles in their own country. The Saoudi's fear an Intifada, uprising, Al Qaida and ISIS, Iranian infiltration via support for the Shia minority in Saoudi Arabia, Shia refugees and migrants and influence from movements like the Muslim Brotherhood, a new revivalist movement, Mujaddid, which might settle in their Najd or Nejd (Arabic: نجد , Najd), the central region of Saudi Arabia. The Saoudi rulers are, even though they are Puritan fundamentalist themselves, really scared fro the multiple threats that surround them and therfor have xenophobic, anti-islamist and Pro-Western ideas. But they lack the Western emptathy, compassion, christian love, humanism and solidarity with people of their own faith. But I understand their situation and their fear. Cheers, Pieter

A timely read I must say: I see that on the Closing of the Islamic mind and it brings back stories of how the Islamic world carried science and culture while we Europeans engaged in the Dark Ages of superstition and Faith... But my primary worry as an American is our own,,home grown fanatics. The fanatic Christians in our own country that feel THEIR faith and beliefs should be the primary law of our land. I fear this interior corruption of our country rather than the external Muslim threats. Those, I believe are easier to handle.

Cheers, Pieter Pieter Thank you for your very fine and accurate presentation of the Saudies. As a person, my self am not a friend of the Saudies and for various reasons you have accurately outlined. These people of Saudies will if at possible, buy off any opposition they see as an endangerment to their way of life and the camel races. These people although in this century, still are in the century of very long past of tribal laws of the well and the number of slaves they have to help in their various house wholes. Karl

Top Iman Sheikh Muhammad Ayed recently gave a speech in which he asserted that Muslims should use the migrant crisis to breed with European citizens and “conquer their countries”.

Actually, in some areas, Herr Sheikh Muhammad Ayeb in his Al-Aqsa Mosque Address, is not so far off. Yes, we do need the number of 50.000 projected employees in German factories, and if he would hold down on the volume of his mouth, he is welcomed to operate a lath of what ever he has the aptitude to do, if floor sweep would fall in his line of endeavor, so be it. What he knows not, is the common wage would/will drop and with this, will be the wrath of his fellow workers with supporting union complaints and he as an Islamic will bear the brunt of blaim....It is not very healthful to pee off your German workers.
The next inline of his rhetoric spoken quite loud as if every one is deaf, is yes, Islamic or as it may be,, the followers of Islam as spoken in the book of Koran. The Christians and the Jews are the people of the book, but contrary to his misunderstanding, we have not turned away from of true God, but followed his teachings all of these years and have followed his word.
I think though, there is a mistake with this mans thinking, for Europe is Christian, not Muslim. If he {Herr Sheikh Muhammad Ayeb} believes other wise, perhaps he needs be to be exposed to some Viking treatment.
Arabs are known to be loud, nasty sounding, they enjoy to hear their own loud mouths, makes them feel brave, to this end, to finger their worry beads and stare. In the end, their camels still have bad breath, and badly smell.
