Jaga Thank you. What an excellent set of photographs of places that many of us can only ever dream of seeing - especially us here in Europe. In many of the photos I felt I was right there with you (or perhaps I was just wishing I was there!!!) Thank you Jaga for giving us the pleasure and privilege of seeing the photos. I'm gong to go through them once or twice again to decide on my favourite. Leslie

Leslie, Charles and Susanne,
thank you for your nice commentaries. I was trying to give the general view of what we saw. I am glad you liked it. Leslie, have you been in Hawaii before?

Jaga, great stuff! I especially liked the one of you in the hula skirt! I've never been to Hawaii but I'd like to go, preferably combined with California again, which means more time and money, which means it's not going to happen. Oh well, nice idea.

Jaga Like Scatts I haven't been to Hawaii but would love to go there. I just go for those grass skirts!!! But I doubt whether I'll make it now , so your photos are the next best thing for me. Excellent! Leslie

Jaga, went through your Hawaii photos. What a wonderful trip you had and a lot of light. It was good to see your pictures especially that recently we have a typical November szaruga, depressing a bit. Appreciated captions in Polish, that made this foreign and exotic land even more 'familiar'.

Guys, sure, I would love to be this girl in the hula skirt Bujno, yes, I made it in Polish and English since I would like my Polish family and friends to enjoy it also. For us Poles - being in hawaii is like being at the end of the world - 12 hours difference. I always dreamed to get there!

Guys, I improved some links. Now you can see that this is a part of my personal website. It is completely separated from the Polishculture site. Here is the main website: jaga.netfirms.com/when I was 12 years younger

Very nice photographs Jaga, I liked the the nature images the most, the green land, the lava, the archeolological images, and the images you took from your plane. Really like National Geographic Magazine.

Jaga,
Your mom was a very fine looking woman, she has a good (sympathetic) face and must have been a nice person, if so many of your friends colled her mom. It is a nice collection of photographs from her. Good job of you. I also liked the fact that you undertitled your Hawai images in two languages, English and Polish. Often immigrants forget the language and culture from the country they came from. It is good of you to think about your Polish visitors.

Pieter,
I chosed not to show my mother from her last years since she was very sick and one could see it on her face. My mother was an amazing woman, she was also very smart and educated.
Charles, Thanks for looking through my website. Do you plan to have your family website? It is good to show it to friends!
