A 12 year old Dutch girl took her Pony from the Frisian city Sneek (Snits) to the Frisian capital Leeuwarden (Ljouwert/Liwwadden) in the North of the Netherlands. The owner of the little horse found out that her pony was gone and called the police. The girl was halted in Leeuwarden, and delivered to her mother and the Pony was brought back to the woman in Sneek (Snits). The girl is a member of a Pony club and she takes care of the pony.
Horses and ponies is a real girl thing in the Netherlands. Ponies are a hobby for little girls and teenage girls who like to take care of ponies and horses. For some reasons Dutch boys aren't attracted to horse riding. Maybe they consider it to be a girls thing.
