My grandfather came from Mazurowka and grandmother from Komalowice, both I believe I the Galicia area in 1900. grandfathers last name Popow, he is said to have left for America because his mother wanted him to be a priest, so they must have been Catholic. They were here Catholic.

Mazurowka sounds so mazurian. I mean, it should be in Warsaw area, that means in central Poland. You should check interactive map of Poland available from genealogy subwebsite

Mazurowka is now Zhydachiv, Ukraine. Stephen Popow's parish was Zurawno, Mary Dutkowska's parish was Dublany in the current Sambor area. I have been doing some searching to find these things out. How can I find any re rods related to both of these grandparents, they migrated in the early 1900,s they were born about 1885 and 1889.
