FTB....nope no cold feet just sore ( LOL ....just kidding) Seriously I don't believe that is on the menu. I don't think I have ever seen it on any menu in a Polish restaurant. Do you have it in your area. I am guessing you like it. My mom made it when we were younger but us kids never ate it just my dad and mother. I think she made it for him specifically. I also believe it was called "stew joe le na" (phonetically) They poured vinegar over it and ate it when served.

Those pickled pigs feet are good and you can still buy them split in most stores. Czarnina would be super right now. Raining here all day. Kaszanka would allso be good I am going to have to make some soon.

;D The Jajecznica sounds like something described to me by my uncle who was a lumberjack way back when. The fried bacon would be mixed in with the scrambled eggs but the bacon was not minced. The mix was fried in the bacon grease and the finished product was not pretty but it tasted good. The finished bacon and eggs were part of what was called a "Lumberjacks Breakfast". The rest of the meal consisted of pancakes and coffee. My uncle was a lumberjack in the days before chainsaws and other modern equipment. The gear consisted of bucksaws, axes and wedges. The left over bacon grease was not thrown away but used on bread as a spread and it was also used for minor cuts, scrapes, blisters and burns; no doctors or hospitals nearby. I can still make that "lumberjacks breakfast'" but sometimes I do not make Buttermilk Pancakes, instead I make Buckwheat Pancakes. ;D
