3 arrested and charged in Poland after expose on neo-Nazis
Associated Press•January 23, 2018
WARSAW, Poland (AP) — Polish state media report that three people have been arrested and charged with propagating fascism after a news program revealed details about a neo-Nazi group in Poland that celebrated Adolf Hitler.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki also said Tuesday that the state would not tolerate any use of totalitarian symbols and that he wants to see the neo-Nazi group banned.
The private news channel TVN24 broadcast an expose Saturday about "Pride and Modernity," a neo-Nazi group whose members dressed in Nazi uniform to celebrate Hitler last spring on what would have been the German dictator's 128th birthday.
Poland was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany during World War II and the existence of the pro-Hitler group has sparked shock and revulsion.

It appears the Polish authorities have caught three out of how many? Well, dependant upon the skills of questioning, three would lead to five and five would lead to seven, and so on, then how far do they wish to go? For this is an ongoing situation that is a problem in Europe and Russia. It is interesting that in past and present, very little has been brought forward of operations in Poland by such Neo Nazi groups as disclosed in this instance. www.cbsnews.com/news/polish-government-pressured-to-act-against-neo-nazis/Karl

Probably a fringe group like Neo-Nazi movements and parties in many European nations. In Russia and Ukraine Neo-Nazi groups are a larger problem in my opinion.
Trouble some in Poland though are far right soccer Hooligans, Neo-Fascist Falangists and National-Democratic Endecja like movements.
Real Neo-Nazi parties will be limited, because few Poles will be that stupid and selfhating (selfloathing) to be Neo-Nazi.

People take it as anti-Trump, anti-white. but the truth is, the only good nazi is a dead nazi. Kai

This died with the ending of the war and for good riddance. Karl

Today some Neo-Nazi's disguise themselves as Peoples Nationalists, National conservatives, Patriots, Nationalists or Rightwing populists. Thye avoid using Nazi symbols, but their mindset is 100% Nazi (original NSDAP followers from 1920 until 1945) or Neo-Nazi.
I agree with Karl that we do not need people like the NPD in Germany, Voorpost and NVU in the Netherlands and Golden Dawn in Greece that call them selves Nazis or are Nazi's wihtout saying so. Again most of them disguise themselves under the banner of the Alternative für Deutschland, Pegida or NPD. Yes, the original nazism died with the ending of the war and for good riddance.
Kaima, you got a good point there, and fact is that most Nazi's (the German and Austrian originals, and a few of their Dutch, Flemish, Walloon, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and French henchmen) are dead. The Neo's are a lunatic fringe. Often more bussy fighting eachother than outsiders. But they can be dangerous for outsiders too, the proof of that was the National Socialist Underground in Germany.
Cheers, Pieter

Neo-Nazi's marching in my city Arnhem. Confusing is the fact that they are dressed like the far left anti-fascist Black Block and use anti-fascist flags. But these guys in Black with their red flags are hard core Dutch Neo-Nazi's, comparable to Blood & Honour, Combat 18 and NSDAP-ao and the National Socialist Movement (NSM). They are fringe groups, but have hundreds of followers. They can be dangerous.
They shout the slogan; "Free, Social and National." (Vrij, Sociaal en Nationaal in Dutch and Frei, Sozial und National in German). A slogan used by the European Neo-Nazi far right.

John, Pieter, Karl and all,
I agree that this neo-nazi group in Poland is on the fringes of the society and it can happen anywhere.

don't you think that estreme right and left organizations are similar to each other? It is like joining the circle on opposite ends.

I agree with Karl. But I don't believe that the far left organisations and extreme rightwing organisations are similar to each other. The only similarity is their extreme behavior, violent attitude, and often anti-capitalism but their aims, ideologies and motivations are different. The radical left organisations are often anti-Nationalists, internationalist, pro-immigrants, leftwing socialist or anarchist. The extreme right is ethnocentric, ultra-nationalist, ultra-conservative (archconservative), anti-stranger (anti-foreigner/anti-alien, anti immigrants and anti refugees), for a pure white race and anti-democratic. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joop_Glimmerveenen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_Peoples-Unionen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centre_Party_(Netherlands)en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Centre_Party_%2786en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voorposten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pegida_Netherlands
