Thank God the Netherlands is number 3. Belgium is at number 7, Denmark 9, Germany 15 (after Jamaica on 6, Costa Rica at 10, Estonia at 12, and Portugal at 14). Canada at 18 surprises me. And Australia at 19 too. Spain at 31 and France at 33 are worrisome. United Kingdom at 40 also surprises me. United States at 45 is very worrisome. Israel at 87.

Interesting compilation of each state ranks in Press Freedom with some surprises. I thought the US would rank some what higher in as well as Canada, for Canadian news people are very well respected in most cases.
For my self, my trust to each out let goes as far as their foreign news, once the news becomes negative to the values of that given state then it generally becomes suspect. It is then for this same news report, to then access a different news outlet for that first suspect news to then more or less, provide a better picture of events. A recheck so to say of proving out that news release as being at least some what accurate, if this makes any sense?
