Jaga
Thank you for presentation of this topic. For it is one of many mysteries of America I have not ever held an understanding of; and one, is the circus they use to select their new president under. It is an absolute circus with the confusion index of 100%. I have no idea how they manage to progress to a logical ending, but, they seem to know only to them selves, what they are doing.
We have a saying for the Americans though:
{ For never underestimate the common will of the Americans-For inspite of their seemingly total pursuit of pleasure and luxury-For in time of national common crises-They will unite as one, with one mind, and become an un-imaginable unstoppable power}

This election is going to be scary. Why because for the first time we have Youtube and blogs and somehow this will impact in not such a good way. Sometimes too mcuh information is as bad as no information. The circus is coming to your town.

Chris, I agree that more information is sometimes overwhelming but I do not agree that in general it is a bad thing. The information is transmitted much more freely. Whatever FoxNews and Bush administration tells us about Iraq we can verify somewhere else. I do not like this talk by Republicans that Americans need to be unified (around the "President") how does this refer to the democracy? If not the blogs nobody would know about the excesses of Craig and Fowley ?? we would not know how much hipocrisy is going on.
