I really hope that Trump under Bolton influence would not try to start another war, just because... he does not want to show his taxes report that showed that he never paid any. It is scary, Jaga, and I don't listen to Tucker Whoeverheis, but I agree with a good part of what he says. Bolton near a trigger for any danger is bad. As another draft dodger serving under President HeelSpur Trump (his medical deferment. He could have told the truth and claimed abdominal trouble - no guts).
So we have a whacko president with a whacko staff. What could go wrong?
I don't see where MSNBC or CNN is agitating for war, so I miss that part of his argument.

P.S. Bolton served earlier under G.W. Bush, our Deserter in Chief, who also got into reserves to guarantee he would not be sent to 'Nam, and he couldn't even cut that; he disappeared for more than a year of his reserve duty. Ahh, the call of booze, cocaine and babes!

Kai,
I agree that Bolton was always a disaster in making and one of the most aggressive neocons. I worry that Trump can still start this war when he would need a cover up from his Miller investigation or other failures.
I agree that the other stations so not push for the war, but just reporting on it makes is a sensation and then it blows out of proportion.

Bolton, in full John Robert Bolton, (born November 20, 1948, Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.), American government official who served as national security adviser (2018– ) to U.S. Pres. Donald Trump. Bolton previously was the interim U.S. ambassador to the United Nations (2005–06).
Bolton was educated at Yale University (B.A., 1970; J.D., 1974), and much of his subsequent career was spent in government jobs. A conservative Republican, he began his federal service in the administration of Pres. Ronald Reagan, holding positions in the U.S. Agency for International Development and as assistant attorney general (1985–89). From 1989 to 1993, under Pres. George H.W. Bush, he was assistant secretary of state for international organization affairs. Pieter and all, I believe that there is a concentrated effort by some neo-conservativsts to entangle the US in this war. I am surprised how silent Netanyahu is this time. I think he works through Bolton and other people through the backdoor. I believe that Trump does not really want this war and worries that he can be trapped in it; but since Trump is unpredictable he can fall into this trap.
