Large Kurd demonstration in The Hague on Saturday
The young Kurdish women who speak excellent Dutch explain that not only the Kurds are targeted by the Turkish attacks in Northern Syria, but also Iraqi christians, Yezidi, Arabs and others. They are disappointed in the USA, Europe and the West. They feel abandoned, neglected and feel a lack of gratitude. The Kurds fought hard against Islamic state and lost a lot of fighters and civilians in that war. They don't understand why their American allies who supported them with weapons, ammunition and F16 airstrikes on Islamic state targets abandons them right now. The young women were also disappointed that they saw only Kurds in the crowd of the demonstration. They had hoped for solidarity of non-Kurds, native Dutch people and others.

The Kurds in the Netherlands know how to organise mass demonstrationsDemonstration against Erdogan and Turkey. One year ago. Many Yellow flags with the image of Abdullah Öcalan, also known as Apo (short for both Abdullah and "uncle" in Kurdish), the Kurdish leader and one of the founding members of the militant Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). In the same time many flags of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (Partiya Karkerên Kurdistanê (PKK)) PKK flagYellow flag with the image of the founding father of the militant Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), Abdullah Öcalan

Tensions between Kurd people and ethnic Turkic people are present all over Europe. These scenes could rerturn in Europe, because the Kurds are very emotional, enraged, furious, angry, sad, frustrated and irritated today. They might seek revenge, commit acts of vandalism, attack ethic Turkish targets, clash with the riot police and cause urest, chaos and anarchy in European innercities of the larger towns and cities.

Pieter
It is good of you to bring the world to our respective computers with such situations as depected in video coverage that you have so kindly researched and provided.
In some manners, these civil disobedience situations are indicative of a cause and effect situation evolving as expected, from currant events of the Turkish invasion of Syrian territory that should not be tolerated. With this the racial targeting of Kurds by Turkish forces. It would be natural of such events to be monitored and interceded by UN armed forces, but of course this is not a natural event for the UN is controled by the Americans and they do not like the Syrian President: Basher al Assad.
In the stead of such indicated violence and mob mentality, it would have been much wiser for these Kurdish individuals to form a representative committee for to then meet with German Federal Administrative representatives to present a petition to state their case for assistance for the safety of those Kurdish people caught in this vice of Turkish military racist programme.
But of course as we observe, the above is not in the mind set of these rioters. For with their actions they are turning the situation in to public condemnation against them {Kurds} by the destructive nature of their rioting.

Karl,
Both Kurds and Turks use methods of mob rule, nationalist activism and Agitprop in Western-Europe.The number of Turkish immigrants is larger than the number of Kurd immigrants. So often mass demonstrations of Turks are larger than the Kurd demonstrations. But both can be violent and when Kurd and Turkish demonstrations collide a lot of tension comes lose, like also between native European extreme right and leftwing antifascists.
More often these Kurd demonstrations are peaceful, but irritate ethnic Turks, due to the Kurd national flags of Iraqi Kurdistan, Turkish Kurd PKK flags, the Yellow flags with the former Turkish Kurd PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan on them or the Syrian Kurd YPG flags. Turks often provoke with Turkish flags, shouting racist anti-Kurd slogans or simply attacking the Kurds. The Kurds then defend themselves. Also Red Turkish flags can be like a red flag for a raging bull in a bull fight with a bullfighter ("Torero"). Kurds often can't control themselves when Turks provoke them, shout insults or tease them. Kurd security guards often try to discipline heated Kurd demonstrators in a show of self disciplin of the organisation, but often can't control a heated Kurd mass.
On the other side both innocent Kurds and innocent ethnic Turks have been beaten up by groups of Turks and Kurds, only because they are Kurd or Turk. We have to deal with this ethnic Turk and ethnic Kurd Nationalism in our societies. Because the Turkish group is much larger, I am more concerned about the influence of Turkish nationalist organisations like the MHP (Nationalist Action Party, Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi), AK parti supporters of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Gray Wolves (Bozkurtlar) and supporters of the Turkish Islamic Millî Görüş movement.
But of course the presence of the Kurd PKK and TAK (Teyrêbazên Azadiya Kurdistan or Kurdistan Freedom Hawks) is a reason for concern for the West-European authorities as well.
Cheers, Pieter

My self do realize of course you are correct in your reply for this is reality of the here and now. With this also, do I realize my own faults in various solutions that are when it comes to human relations not falling in to the realm of fault correction to human frailty.

The tensions between Turks and Kurds are there. This confrontation took place in Rotterdam yesterday. Enfuriated Turks acting aggressive and hostile against Kurd demonstrators, the Dutch Riot police ME and the Dutch journalists
The Dutch police spokesman towards the violent mob of Turks: "You act not according to our agreements about the demonstration. Your violence is unacceptable. If you do not listen and do not stop the violence, the police will act with force to stop you!"
