Jaga I'm a little confused (not rare!). The subject title you gave, without seeing the ? at the end, gives the impression that you are going to say why Madeleine, whereas in the postings you are asking the question 'why is she still in the news?' _ I assume this is what you meant to portray. Never mind, you've got OJ to concentrate on now! Leslie

OJ's sorry a$$ is exactly where it belongs. . He must be slipping as the worse thing he could have done is to be in Vegas as they have the most sophisticated cameras in the world. I would go as far as saying better than the US governments equipment. If it's on camera lets see him talk his way out of this one.

Leslie Leslie, Between the two of us, lets conspire to start the rumor (yes, double-mouple) that OJ was in Portugal when Madeliene dissapeared ... that will keep all of the scandal sheets on overtime! I think the title of this thread should be like Pawians "neuws...". In America some TV political stations changed their routine programs in order to accomodate for OJ Simpson no story. For a couple of days the mass media are very upset how dare Iranian presidents to ask to visit 9-11. Why not? Is he responsible for 9-11? There is just so much push for a war with Iran, but please, someone, give me one good reason why?! I also heard people laughing about the gas prices being high and about the fact that canadian dollar is higher than US dollar. Some people try to argue that this is good for American economy!?! How much stupidity I will hear in the news still? I am tired of it.

I also heard people laughing about the gas prices being high and about the fact that canadian dollar is higher than US dollar. Some people try to argue that this is good for American economy!?! How much stupidity I will hear in the news still? I am tired of it. Jaga Thank you for bringing this forward, for I am very negligent with American news. The news media reporting was very deplorable of the visit of Iranian President {Mahmoud Ahmadinejan} this type of greeting is and should be, very insulting to a visiting foreign dignitary. Certainly not a good face to show the world of as representative of American good will. As a person, I would be very ashamed to associated with this. For this is a very important visiting dignitary and due to address {The UN General Assembly} this coming week. With this type of national greeting whilst on the negative side is not the good face the Americans need to show. For friends are made, but enemies are created. There are two aspects {actually 3} with this official dignitary visit. For one aspect, Mr. Ahmadinejad will be opening up to the members of the UN-General Assembly, the meeting of Iran's resolve to the threats presented by the American President Bush. With this series of open debate with the American foreign policy, will bring up to the light of day, the operations of American involvement in the Middle East. Of this of using a typen of mercenary forces in Iraq as a supplement to the failure of the American State Department with protection to American dignitaries. By the Geneva Convention rules of War Fare, the private Security Mercenary groups are classified as {Official Assistance to Military Forces as Auxiliary forces}. Unfortunately, very recently, a number of Iraqi civilians were killed by gun fire in a confused situation of these civilian forces whilst escorting a motorcade of government dignitaries. The situation of civilian armed forces fighting in Iraq, is not good to be well known. It is understandable, the American President, Mr. Bush, would rather this be not placed into view infront of the American people at this particular time. The 2nd aspect: It is very interesting as the timing of the American Press to print out the similar objections of the visit of Mr. Ahmadinejad. For in doing so, enforces the knowledge of previous pressure presented to the various news agencies of printing only that of material meeting prior approval {currant Mr. Bush}{this is covered under: Operation Mockingbird-CIA} I will not discuss this programme, but, if those of interest, then use those words as key words with your search resources. Lastly: At present, Iran is experiencing a very serious situation in the North of their country at present with the Kurdish population. It would not be beneficial for this type of situation to be publicized infront of the UN-General Assembly. We have an interesting world we live in at present. But, for each situation, will lay an opportunity, it is good only to those who will profit from the loss of others. Charles

Charles, I am glad you agree with me that this was really in a bad taste to be so unwelcoming. I do not know so much as you about Iran current policy but it is not only Iran messing up with Kurds but also Turkey. But one cannot say anything bad about Turkey because it is our "friend". I have heard that Cheney wants Israel to start strike against Iran, then US will join one thing for sure, Ahmadinejad does not want the war but the US is trying as hard as it can to make everybody believe that Iran is messing up with Iraq much more than anybody else: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in New York to protests Sunday and said in a television interview that Iran was neither building a nuclear bomb nor headed to war with the United States. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070924/ap_on_re_us/iran_usPakistan had nuclear bomb, Saudi Arabia delivers more terrorists than any other nations but this does not mean anything, the US just decided to attack Iran.... go figure

Jaga,
Was watching the View on TV last week and Whoopi asked the same question. Why when other children also lost did they pick Madeline.
Answer: By Barbara Walters..."because the Parents made a public appeal and that also the child was cute. This is what spurred the Media. Whoopi's questions were almost identical to yours. (Maybe you were watching??)

Jaga if you still lived in Poland and they blew up say Wavel Castle or train station killing thousands of people and they destroyed a building such as Twin Towers equivalent in Poland and the Iranian president wanted to stop by for a visit, Would you be welcoming him with open arms and saying it is not unwelcoming if someone did not feel as you. What if you lost your family there. Still feel he should be welcomed with open arms.

What if you lost your family there. Still feel he should be welcomed with open arms. How in the world do you connect Iran with the Twin Tower attack? The had nothing to do with it that I ever heard. Your argument sounds quite in line with Brother GW Bush, where he took 19 Saudies of the 20 attackers, ignored them, and attacked Iraq. Even with his WMD argument, no one ever questioned if they had a method of delivering such a thing to the USA. Now if they all buy into our common argument "kill them all and let God sort them out", then yes, all US citizens are targets. Quite contra to BuSh, I believe in talking to "enemies" before I start shooting. Diplomacy has worked wonders in the past. Can you tell I am too conservative to be a neo-con-artist in the BuSh camp? Of course if Wawel Castle will be blown up I do not think that any politician from outside would be welcome for a while. But what this has to do about Iranian president? Did Iran or Iraq had anything to do with 9-11? The fact that the US decided that it want to find the cause to attack Iran does not convince me that Iran is so bad!?! Is Saudi Arabia any better? Women cannot drive a car there. Is Turkey any better? They are messing up with Kudrystan all the time. Is Israel better? It attacked Lebanon, it attacked Syria it has unaccounted nuclear weapons. In Poland during communism we welcomed different presidents. Of course the warmest welcome was always limited to Soviet communistic leaders. We knew that this is all the politics, since American presidents were not any worse, rather better than Soviets, still the Soviet leaders were the most warmly welcomed. Chris, do not get brainwashed by any propaganda you watch. We in Poland learned much more how to deal with the propaganda

Chris,
please, give me one good argument that Iran is a threat to the America and that Iran is worse than Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey to the stablility of Iraq.
Just because the US escalates the threats against Iran does not mean that Iran is bad. Frankly, rather the opposite.
The US is RESPONSIBLE for the war in Iraq, US president started this terrible war which costs us 720 mln dollars a day and hundreds of thousands of people dead and millions replaced, not the Iran's president.

Iran believes in nuclear power and that to me is dangerous to us. I don't believe they are our friends either. Iran, Iraq not much difference to me. I consider them our enemies and so do most of Americans.

How we dare one country to call a friend and one enemy without any real merit? This is the same what communists did. Do you see this propaganda of escalation of the animosity against Iran? Here is a good political forum to look and learn: reddit.com/

Jaga and Chris
Please not to be angry with me for intervention of only that of a few thoughts.....For I will not bring to the forefront of url or numbers. If not this to believe, then ok...
The nuclear question that sticks in the craw of the Americans {Israelis} is competition of the power curve becoming shared with another Middle East Nation, and that is Iran.
The means and purpose of Nuclear Power by Iran, is for fuel as generation steam as a heat source. For at moment, as we speak, there have been contractual agreements between Iran--Iraq/Pakistan/India/Syria for electrical energy transmission supplies.
I have no idea of the American idea of nonsense. For it would so seem that the American President, Mr. Bush. Is so infected with his ideas of grandiose as to be simply un-imaginable for except to those with a high belief of{treating stupidity as a virtue}.
