Thousands of construction workers from all over the Netherlands at a national strike with a mass of tens of thousands of workers on one square creates a huge risk for the The Hague police, because public safety, government buildings, roads and highways and key public functions like hospitals, police stations and the government buildings are concentrated in a few square miles (kilometers). Because these construction workers are in the Hague with heavy construction machines, tracktors, bulldozers, vans and trucks and because these people are not regular Union folks.
Why the Dutch police is concerned about these construction workers shows this British construction worker who went on a rampage in a new built hotel in the UK.
Amongst construction workers you have notorious Hooligans of various Hooligan firms.
Farmers, workers, student protesters and other don't realise that these riot police officers have years of experience with heavy riot control. With violent hooligans and squaters. They use the same methods with Hooligan arrests and workers strike arrests. The police moves in with a van. Police officers jump out of the van and jump on a rioter and arrest him. I saw such arrests at a large student demonstration in 1994. The authorities are always stronger at the end. They have the riot police ME, the military police and military assistance if needed.
But large demonstrations of several professions are in fashion today. So more large scale protest will follow. Also new farm protests in december.

Pieter
It is becoming so evident by these actions that are so witnessed of troubles/protests/civil unrest. It so appears out there in the world of man {man as species, not as sex}, of our given world is simply crazy.
We are living with the best we have had for these years of peace with out those darn wars. And, what we do not see, is happy faces, marches of happy faces of enjoyment and contentment. For there is our world of plenty to eat, no bombs falling on our heads, no fear of arrest in the middle of the night. And best of all, Freedom with out occupational military solders with eyes that stare at you with hate.
Perhaps I have lived much too long with such a long memory of a world that no longer exist. Or perhaps I have lived too long in a sandbox of safety hiding withen the confines of my work with out the interaction of those that are suffering without my knowledge in a world I have not properly met..
It would be nice to have a magic wand to wave at the displeasures of our world to make it well once again, or perhaps it has always been the way it is at present, but simply was not to take notice.
Well, I do trust with hope to not have spoilt your presentation, but what may I say in my defence?
Karl
