Folks,
Last week I was in a professional help center for Autistic people (Aspergers, PDD-NOS and Classical autism) as a cameraman with someone who is busy with a series of programs about special subjects, from health care, climate to yoga. I learned a great deal about both Autism and people with a neuro typical brain (the so called 'normal' majority). I recognize some things Greta Thunberg is saying. What is the difference between Autistic people and people with a neurotypical (normal) brain? I learned that Autistic people have a 'functional brain' and 'neurotypical people' have an empathic brain. Autistic people for instance don't understand the Danish Hygge culture, the Dutch Gezelligheid culture, nor the German gemütlichkeit, social talk, talk about the weather or how your holiday was. When an Autistic person is back on his office, firm or company where his or her job is, he or she starts walking and is focussed on his or her job. Don't talk about the weekend or holidays, your family or pet, because the autistic person won't understand the social function of that or the interhuman social talk functionality of it. The autistic person will think that you talk about (the recent past) which has nothing to do with today, with the present hour you are in and the tasks which have to be done.
I was one of the few people who could work with 2 very difficult autistic colleagues. I know that Jaga had a very bad experience with an autistic man at her job. At my broadcast station a female colleague had great difficulties with one of these autistic men who was very explosive, aggressive, blunt and too direct. She stopped working for us and moved away (left our radio/tv station). I could come into an argument with these guys, could become angry and silence them. I learnt to set my boundaries, limit their space to go over the border and be the dominant one. If something went wrong I acted, was a mirror to them, because I confronted them with their behaviour and sometimes made them become silent with some force. Unfortunately a few times I had to become very angry to change their behaviour (Jaga will know what I mean). Shut up, stop now, be quiet, resolve your own problems. This is the problem and in that way you can fix it. It is not political correct and maybe not the most subtle ok kind way, but I acted the way guys amongst each other act. I have to do my job with deadlines and can't be bothered to much by these 2 trouble makers. They are gone now, because they couldn't functionate in our social environment with a lot of women, guests and clients. Autistic people need special places where they can work and where their specialities can be used. I recognise some of the elements these autistic people deal with. I recognise their high sensitivity, the fact that they can hear many things and smell and taste things unlike normal people. They suffer from erethist problems, how to interact with other people and etc. I have experience with working with autistic persons for many years. Both Aspergers and PPD-NOS people. I also saw they qualities, that in their perfectionism and functionalism they were better in some subjects and tasks than others. For instance in ICT, special editing, and tasks where a lot of structure and system is required. They are good with computers, hardware and software.
Cheers, Pieter

Dutch youth journal about Greta Thunberg
You see her mother, father, sister and the dogs of her family. She managed to convince her family to stop eating meat, stop flying, buying an electric car and using less electricity. Please watch the video. Half of it is in English language.

I hope that other Forum members or guests post messages and video's of other opinions. Opinions opposite to that of Greta Thunberg. A Forum is a place of discussion, exchange, communication, sharing opinions and view and debate.

Dear friends,
Scientists just warned that the climate could be on the cusp of completely spiraling out of control!
From burning rainforests to melting ice caps, we could be close to hitting a series of climate ‘tipping points’ that would trigger a nightmare we can’t stop.
But we still have a brief window left to act -- ten years to cut global carbon pollution in half, thirty to get it to zero. To do it, we urgently need massive investment in clean energy and green jobs -- and Europe could be about to lead the way.
In days, the EU will propose a game-changing ‘Green Deal’ that could spark a global climate revolution. But fossil fuels blockers have derailed key parts of the deal once before -- so let’s build massive backing, and deliver it with polls showing huge public support across Europe, then push countries everywhere to get on board to save everything we love!
Avoiding climate catastrophe can only happen with massive investment in green technology and jobs to switch the entire economy away from filthy fossils. That’s why the idea of the Green Deal could be so powerful -- making zero-carbon targets legally binding and ensuring no one is left behind.
Winning Europe is the best way to launch a cascade of Green New Deals across the planet to make our vision of a world run on 100% clean energy a reality. With a massive global campaign, opinion polls showing huge support and hard-hitting ads in key media outlets, we’ll make sure all global leaders know people everywhere are demanding action to tackle the climate crisis.
This is our moment of truth. We can stand on the sidelines or fight for our future. Right now, fossil fuel lobbyists are doing all they can to undermine this amazing idea -- so let’s stand up and defend it, for us, for our children, and for generations to come.
We’re standing on the cusp of a new decade, and it’s one that will make or break our future. If we rise to the climate challenge, we’ll have turned a crisis into something beautiful, that will move us closer to the world we want. Let’s make this a climate tipping point to be proud of -- the moment we turned away from carbon for good.
With hope and determination,
Christoph, Bert, Alice, Pascal, Marie, Melanie, Luis and the rest of the Avaaz team

www.nbcnews.com/politics/2020-election/green-new-deal-how-it-works-presidential-candidate-positions-n1044811www.nytimes.com/2019/02/21/climate/green-new-deal-questions-answers.htmlThe Green New DealAccording to Wikipedia ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_New_Deal ) The Green New Deal (GND) is a proposed United States legislation that aims to address climate change and economic inequality. The name refers to the New Deal, a set of social and economic reforms and public works projects undertaken by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in response to the Great Depression. The Green New Deal combines Roosevelt's economic approach with modern ideas such as renewable energy and resource efficiency.
The Green New Deal will convert the old, gray economy into a new, sustainable economy that is environmentally sound, economically viable and socially responsible. It seeks to solve the climate crisis by combining quick action to get to net- zero greenhouse gas emissions and 100% renewable energy by 2030 along with an “Economic Bill of Rights” – the right to single-payer healthcare, a guaranteed job at a living wage, affordable housing and free college education.
European Greens were among those calling for a Green New Deal in 2006 in response to the global financial crisis. In addition to a call for both climate action and a bill of economic rights, the approach by the European Greens sought to democratize the world’s financial system. In New York State, Howie Hawkins promoted a Green New Deal in his 2010 Green Party run for Governor – an issue focus that subsequently was picked up by Jill Stein in her 2012 Presidential campaign and by many other Green Party candidates across the United States. The highlights of the plan - The Green New Deal is not a specific policy proposal, but rather a general set of goals. - It seeks to get the world to net-zero emissions by 2050 and ideally even sooner in the United States. - It goes beyond the environment and climate change to call for universal health care and affordable housing, among other goals. - Not all Democratic presidential candidates back the Green New Deal, with some arguing it boxes them in too much on specifics, while many Republicans, including the president, say it’s not affordable and could cost tens of trillions of dollars if fully implemented.

Pieter
It would appear of a great deal of gloom and doom has become quite popular not only in our part of the world, but for the Americans as well. With this, is for some, a vehicle for them to ride in to the glory for their 15 minutes of fame so to speak, this is most notable with the young lady: Greta Thunberg. By the manner of reality, the little lady represents quite a trickster in her own right.
Most of these people even by history such as the War of The World that was broadcast in the 39s was a sham that caused a great deal of panic to the unwary. Here, have not the same, but the vehicle of thinking for those that wish to ride the wave of hesteria using peoples fear of the unknown to further their private ventures.
The reality is yes, we are realizing a climate change, for this is a natural event perhaps accelerated by world wide emissions. Mother nature will do what she wishes no matter the feelings of man kind may think, no more then stopping a volcano from erupting. What people such as some leaderships propose in as that simular to Greta Thunberg is advertising, is problems with out workable answers.
In the stead of questions, we need answers and that is how high the seas are expected to rise, what can we do about effected populations? What preporations needed be conducted and where are they to be relocated when the time arises for action? Or do we actually need to plan for such an event?
