Pieter, when I saw these transports of coffins in our TV - completely unbelievable scenes - I almost cried. This could be someone from us, or our parents.... or uncles and aunts.

Dear Jaga,
I had similar emotions when I saw the army trucks video's. I love Italy, Italian people, Italian food, Italian history, it is an important country for Roman-Catholics and art and architecture lovers, because the Vatican is in Rome and a lot of Roman Catholic heritage is over there. I agree with you that it is terrible that all these people died there, often under very difficult situations. An Italian doctor called the Corona virus way of dying very crual and inhumane. Grandfathers, grandmothers, great uncles and great aunts, uncles and aunts, fathers and mothers, cousins, but also sons and daughters die. It is a myth that only older people die. Also young people can become very ill and die. People who suffer from Astma or bronchitis, pneumonia, the flu or who have the Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The situation is very, very serious in Italy. Thousands of people have died over there and tens of thousands of people are ill over there. Very scary situation, because also doctors and nurses have the virus today and the danger of a shortage of doctors and nurses has arrived the stage. We should watch Italy very carefully as an example.
Cheers, Pieter

Pieter and Jaga
How well do I agree with you both in the matter of Italian dead and the disposal of the dead. I do not wish to appear cold hearted nor unfeeling, for this would be a travesty of thought. For yes my self do carry strong feelings for the lives of others. But, as with most all things, we must carry the responsibility of reality for the sake and protection of others.
It is very real and present the Italians for what ever reason, have been hit extremely hard with this disease out break with seemingly no end. But for reasons of health and protection of others, these dead victims needs be removed quickly and safely away to prevent further spread of the disease that was their demise. Then once removed from each individual scene, must be disposed of by cremation for final disposition of each body. For then each to be individually as ashes to be returned to their respective families for their discretion as they see fit.

Karl,
Thanks for a presentation. I have a hard time that Russians are doing it out of good heart. We don't really know the extend of coronavirus in Russia. Russians know how to advertise themselves also.
