Liesbeth List 1941 – 2020
In the world of 29 million people who understand Dutch and the 24 million people who speak Dutch Liesbeth List was the Barbara Streisand of the Netherlands and Belgian Flanders. Elisabeth Dorathea List, generally known as Liesbeth List (December 12, 1941 – March 25, 2020) was a Dutch singer, stage actress and television personality. She became popular during the 1960s and frequently collaborated with Ramses Shaffy. She also sang Jacques Brel's chansons in Dutch translation. She sang both Dutch language and French language songs.

Pieter, thanks for posting. She was really an amazing singer and in a type of Barbara Streisand. I am surprised how many cases are still in Western Europe. The numbers are not going down. Trump still downplays this tragedy... he hopes to open the churches for Easter.

The numbers are rising. Some people with risk behavior spread the virus. Some are really disturbing, because they rebel against the government. They refuse to follow orders, do whatever they want and don't keep distance and etc. The majority however behaves correct. This virus is totally disrupting daily life and is terribe for our economies and our entrepreneurs and small businesses who are fighting to survive.
I made this interview with the alderman of economical affairs in Arnhem friday.
