Poland closed schools and business about a month ago. The number of infected and deaths is still growing or not really decreasing but at much lower rate than in Western European countries. There are right now 6356 infecetd people, 208 dead.

The most affected are Senior houses and the hospitals. Unfortunately hospitals are not safe in spite of the fact that some hospitals are devoted only to coronavirus patients.
The government is still playing a catchup, they try to do elections in May. The Catholic Church definitively decided to close the churches according to the comandment "not to kill".
Domonican Sisters in Bochnia are helping the patients of the Senior house from Bochnia, near Krakow. Since this place was abandoned by all medical personnel:

Polish health minister is probably doing his job as well as he can, but he is tired. But the PIS people organized small meeting for the anniversary of Smolensk catastrophe and they did not keep a social distance.
