At the end of August this year, in Warsaw, a collector failure occurred in the system transferring sewage to the Czajka wastewater treatment plant. Both lines of the collector located under the bed of the Vistula River had suffered damage. As a result, a controlled discharge of waste into the river (Wisla) was decided on. The situation in the capital city was being followed by the whole of Poland, because the problem of sewage discharge also affected all the cities located on the Vistula River north of the city. After 12 days of controlled discharge into the Vistula River, sewage from seven districts of left-bank Warsaw flowed to the Czajka plant again. and this is a big problem for the capital city and for Trzaskowski who is a mayor of this city (and was also running for a president). here is more: www.uponor.pl/en-pl/infra/company/news/news-pages-poland/the-failure-of-the-czajka-sewage-treatment-plant-
