This is our local version of 'rock fall'. I drive by here every time I head between Homer and Anchorage. The last 3 years the rock fall has been particularly active and dangerous. A northbound vehicle passes by boulders from a rock slide at mile 109 of the Seward Highway just south of Beluga Point along Turnagain Arm on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019. A combination of high winds, heavy rain, and warm temperatures caused multiple rock slides between Windy Corner and McHugh Creek. (Bill Roth / ADN)
