Pieter
First, my self must say this: I have no vested interest as to the winner of this televised debate. Who ever will win the Presidentual race will not enherate a happy position in both domestic or foreign affaires. For the die has long sense been cast in stone.
But then speaking of this debate was at least upon our side of the pond, a very deplorable and waste of time to watch such a circus of human beings acting out their role as tigers and lions, fighting against one and another. And, these people are trying for the position of leadership of such a powerful state as the United States?
It was so very shameful for us to watch such a display of such back and forth ranting as to be graceless in so many words.
If this is the best America can offer, then perhaps a great many changes needs be in our mutual relationships. We do not need such amateurs to deal with such as displayed.

Pieter, Karl,
I did not want to comment as the first person on the debate, but it was an embarrassment. Trump was interrupting all the times and the rules of the debate were not respected. Biden sounded healthy, but there was not a real debate. I went youga during the debate which was good for my health, I came back and started watching the comments and debate fragments and it was hard to watch. I tried to watch comments from undecided and majority of them said that Trump was unhinged and Biden was much better than expected, not a sleepy Joe. Still, there was no substantial debate on any side.

So this is the "Great" level our Fearless Fuhrer has led us to in 4 years. I fear to imagine what 4 more years would lead us into. I certainly would expect it to confirm to the world our fall from leadership and example, and bring us into a realm of competition with Banana Republics around the world.

Dear Kai and Jaga First, my self do hope with trust you both were not angered by my scathing remarks as a response to the debate we have witnessed. For it is not your fault of such situations we have so witnessed. For The American people are still no matter the currant Government situation in leadership, are still thought of in the best of light. In Mexico, American People are thought of as: The Golden People for the richness of the country that is theirs. It is of my own personal feeling to exhibit as of the currant situation and what ever will follow, please stay the course and with this, pride of your country irregardless of such leadership at this moment in time. As a further noten: Mr. and Mrs. Trump is currently in quarantine for testing positive with the Corona Virus. Mr. Trump as of the currant time, is exhibiting minor symptoms. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/10/rules-exist-what-could-come-next-they-wont-prevent-total-chaos/616586/?utm_source=msnKarl

Cartoon from the 1860 presidential election showing three of the candidates—(left to right) Republican Abraham Lincoln, Democrat Stephen A. Douglas, and Southern Democrat John C. Breckinridge—tearing the country apart, while the Constitutional Union candidate, John Bell, applies glue from a tiny, useless pot. Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.
