Hi Pieter, thanks for following up with the story. Kaczynski, the informal leader of PIS spoke up and this was hard to hear. He was in defiance. He said that supreme court (which he changed) was right, everything was done in agreement with the consitution. People should not attack the churches. He is in denial of the reality. Unfortunately this is in Polish only.

Despite the pandemic and the ban on gatherings, there were crowds on the streets of Polish cities on Friday 23 october 2020. Women and men were protesting against the verdict of the Constitutional Tribunal tightening abortion regulations. Several thousand people from Poznań took part in Thursday's protest at Wolności Square, and Friday there were skirmishes with the police in the Old Market Square. About opposition and what may await us, Ewelina Dernoga.
