Pieter, thanks for showing these protests. I really don't understand why these people are protest in the way that they have to demolish the buildings.... it is one thing to be passionate but another to destroy property.

Dear Pieter and Jaga
As with you both, I also do not understand the actions of these people. If to listen to their various reasons of their actions, the context is simply childlike, they have no actual concrete reasons that justifies their actions in words.
What the above is in reality is these people are what they are, individuals committing crimes against property using the excuse as being a protester which is what it is, a lie.
What we are seeing is not just in this area of Portland, but international for as simular in Western Europe and even Russia. The difference in Russia, the police are not so nice. Still, they have their share of problems of this sort.
