We speak to Graham Hancock about his new book America Before: The Key to Earth’s Lost Civilisation. He discusses how dogmatism in archaeology has covered up 130,000 years of human history in the Americas and evidence of advanced civilisations that lived in the Americas thousands of years ago, which challenges colonial narratives of uncivilised natives incapable of high culture.

I went 3/4 of the way through a Native History museum in Albequerque (try to spell that on the fly!) -Albuquerque is correct - New Mexico and was so impressed with the information and displays I broke off early (to return) to go to the book store and ask them "What do you have on Indian history before the White Man?".
I bought the book "1491" and went back into the display to complete the tour.
Yes, there is much missing from our rendering of history. Thanks for posting.

Keeping the thought of much missing in mind, I found this presentation very interesting.

Kai, is the problem also a lack of written sources by American natives? I went 3/4 of the way through a Native History museum in Albequerque (try to spell that on the fly!) -Albuquerque is correct - New Mexico and was so impressed with the information and displays I broke off early (to return) to go to the book store and ask them "What do you have on Indian history before the White Man?". Oh yes, I am glad you identified that part of the problem as well. It - lack of research and resources - certainly is not easy to overcome! Kai
