Hello Pieter I watched the 4th and 5th video from what you posted but I could not watch the last one entirely, it is so sad. This was paid by Canadian government and although catholic church was involved in 60& of the schools, it also protestant churches were involved in 40% of the schools.
I never could truly believe that nouns or priests could be that harsh, but if it gets to controlling children with no power it is just awful.

Unfortunately there are more cases of abuse by the Roman Catholic Church. I think it has to do with hierarchy, power bases, abuse of power, deviant individuals in a collective body with little to no transparency and openness.

Jaga, And these power abuses, maltreatment and excesses didn't only took place in Roman-Catholic churches and institutions, but also in Orthodox churches, the Orthodox Jewish community, the Muslim and Hindu communities. Everywhere where you have the unlimited power of a priest class, priests or ministers, Rabbi's or Imams, or Hindu Priests and by Buddhist teachers against their followers in Europe.
