Karl,
I found their name, they are called “Defend-groepen” (Defend Groups). You have Defend Scheveningen, Defend Limburg, Defend Brabant, Defend Sittard, Defend Arnhem, Defend Amsterdam. Defend Friesland, Defend Twente, Defend Breda, Defend Rotterdam and Defend IJmuiden today.
These are masked Full Face Mask Balaclava wearing, black dressed, Defend banners carrying armed men with baseball bats, sticks, brass knuckles and Totschläger (Totenschlæger in Danish and ploertendoder in Dutch) and knives with them. Their intend is to attack the police, city guards, security personnel, fire fighters, ambulances, opponents and public property and state institutions. They are the violent hard core of the anti-coved measure protest movement. There will be Hooligans of various Hooligan firms amongst them, there will be neo-Nazi’s amongst them, frustrated unemployed youths, street thugs and thus street gang members and disappointed students, workers and some middle class folks, like in any Hooligan form.
These so called Defend Groepen are dangerous, obscure and sinister and a threat to law and order, security, public safety, Democratic political parties, civil servants and police officers, fire fighters and ambulance personnel which is deliberately attacked during these violent demonstrations with riots in various cities.Their aim is to spread chaos and anarchy, fear and destruction around. They want to attack and harass the public order, the society they live in and thus attack institutions and people. Police officers, fire fighters and ambulance personnel are people with families. People whom property, scooters, cars and shops are looted, burned and destroyed are citizens and people of the Netherlands.Cheers, Pieter

Police chief Rotterdam: 'Before the officer shoots in the right direction, something really needs to be done'Rioters who sought confrontation with the police in Rotterdam last night with, among other things, fireworks and stones, had only that as a goal. That is what the Rotterdam police chief Fred Westerbeke says in a response to the NOS: "I do not want to see these as demonstrators. As far as I am concerned, these are criminals who have attempted to injure or even kill my police officers."
Rotterdam police chief Fred Westerbeke: "I do not want to see these as demonstrators. As far as I am concerned, these are criminals who have attempted to injure or even kill my police officers."
According to Westerbeke, there have been times when officers have really been cornered by rioters. That is also the reason that warning shots have been fired by the police and even targeted shots, according to the police chief: "Before a policeman pulls his weapon and shoots, and even shoots targeted, something really has to happen. Then a situation has to be created. have arisen in which they thought: I can only get out of this by using that last means."

The National Criminal Investigation Department is now investigating the use of service weapons by the police. Rumors are circulating on social media that people have died from police bullets. Westerbeke emphatically denies that: "That is really not true. People have been hit by police bullets and that of course always leads to injury."What do we know about the riots in Rotterdam?- 51 rioters have been arrested, according to the police, about half are minors. The rioters came from different parts of the country.
- Police said last night that seven were injured among non-cops, a more current figure has not yet been given. Two people were injured by bullets, the National Criminal Investigation Department is investigating and is also looking for police bullets.
- According to the police, "numerous" officers suffered minor injuries from being attacked with stones and fireworks, such as hearing damage. One officer was so badly injured in his leg that he was taken to hospital. Another officer was treated by paramedics.Westerbeke speaks of an "explosion of violence with very heavy, coarse, fireworks". The police were not sufficiently prepared, he says. A demonstration of 50 to 100 people was expected, from a group that had demonstrated more often against the corona policy: "That demonstration was hijacked by rioters."

Attendees were encouraged to participate via Telegram groups, among others. The police had no insight into these events, says Westerbeke: "We can often see that, but not always. There are many places on the internet that are not easy to reach."
Chief of Police Henk van Essen of the National Police sees that the police have recently been confronted with violence more often: "Intimidation is more frequent and the threshold for using violence has been lowered. This affects not only the police, but also politicians, scientists and journalists have to deal with it.”
He also calls on society to speak out strongly against this: 'We have to draw a line here. It is a small group, but the silent majority has to say that we as a society cannot accept this."
To prevent riots like yesterday, there are more police on the street today in various places, says Van Essen: "We have scaled up to be able to pick up signals, address people and intervene as early as possible."

Police busy with rioting young people, emergency order in The Hague neighborhoods The police have been involved with rioting young people in several places saturday evening. Reports of unrest and violence came from The Hague, Roermond, Stein, Urk and Bunschoten, among others.
In The Hague it was restless in the Schilderswijk and Transvaal. Mayor Van Zanen had issued an emergency order for those districts. Rioters set fire to the street and threw heavy fireworks. Someone also threw a stone through the window of a moving ambulance, which was transporting a patient.
The police were present en masse, including the Mobile Unit, a water cannon and police on horseback. Seven people have been arrested. Five officers were injured; one of them suffered a concussion. In Urk, a Fishermen town, the police were pelted with heavy fireworks. Part of Urk had already been designated as a risk area in advance. This made it possible to carry out preventive searches. Last week, the police were also confronted with young people who threw fireworks.
Eight people have been arrested for possessing or setting off fireworks. Peace returned halfway through the evening, police said.Unrest in Limburg (the South East of the Netherlands)It was also restless in Roermond. In the De Kemp district, dozens of young people gathered who then pelted the police with fireworks. They were then dispersed by the police and chased in the surrounding neighborhood, writes 1Limburg. At least four rioters have been arrested in Roermond for threats and wantonness.
Further on in Limburg, in Stein, a group of about sixty young people caused nuisance. Firecrackers were thrown at police cars. An emergency ordinance applies to the center until Monday.
In Bunschoten, a group of about twenty young people set off fireworks and a wheelie bin was lit. According to RTV Utrecht, fireworks were also thrown at a police car.
In other places in the country, the police were present as a precaution, because there were reports that riots were imminent. For example, Telegram groups called for riots in Eindhoven. Agents checked identity cards of people in the center, Omroep Brabant writes.
The police were present at the Museumplein in Amsterdam as a preventive measure, says NH Nieuws. Catering owners would have wanted to organize a protest with "as many youth as possible".Football matches suspendedThere were also disturbances in two football stadiums. Due to the new corona measures, supporters are not allowed to attend matches in the Eredivisie, but AZ supporters still entered the stadium in Alkmaar during the game against NEC. Some of them walked onto the field, whereupon the game was briefly stopped.
Heracles-Fortuna Sittard was also shut down. There were also fireworks thrown on the field. Outside the stadium, young people threw fireworks at the police. Fans of Heracles Almelo enter the stadium and throw fireworks on the field. © Pro Shots / Ron Jonker

Jaga, In the last couple of years, even before Corona there has come into existence a very strong anti-authorities, anti-Establishment, anti-The Hague political class, anti-Civil servants, anti-Judges, anti-politicians, anti-EU/Brussels (Pro Brexit and Pro Polish and Hungarian administrations -Poles being seen as the real hard core nationalists who keep Muslims and Black Africans and Asians out), anti-climate change activism (anti-Greta Thunberg), anti-United Nations, anti-the Great reset ( en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Reset ), anti-Klaus Schwab, anti-anti-Globalist, anti-IMF, anti-Worldbank, anti-Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, anti-George Soros, anti-Bill Gates, anti-Western media and Press, anti Democratic and Republican establishment movement of Alt Right, QAnon and the New Nationalist Conservative Revolution (German: Konservative Revolution). All kind of Identitarian, nativist, ultra nationalist, conspiracy theory believing, ethnic nationalist, Leftwing and Rightwing populist (National Rightwing Populist movement and parties in Europe with a National Conservative and Nationalist agenda), New Age, and anti-Covid measure activists and militants joined forces in these large anti-vaccine, anti-lock down, anti Covid-19 measure protests in various Dutch cities and various European cities (Vienna and Zagreb). In all these cities and countries you see that Rightwing anti-establishment forces are behind these demonstrations. In Vienna the Rightwing populist FPÖ party of late Jörg Haider (26 January 1950 – 11 October 2008). Jaga, in the Netherlands both native European white males, boys, and even some radical women and girls of the far right are behind these agrresive and extreme violent attacks against the police and some migrant young males from larger cities and towns. It delends where the riots took place. In Rotterdam and Amsterdam and Limburg there were more native Europeans, but the riots in the larger migrant neighbourhoods like de Schilderswijk (painters neighbourhood) the perpetrators were mainly Moroccan & Turkish Dutch youth. Sometimes you have mixes of Native Dutch Hooligans and migrant youth on one side and the Dutch Riot police ME, Dutch Royal Marechaussee (De Koninklijke Marechaussee, the Dutch Military Police) on the other side. In extreme cases the police and the Marechaussee get assistance of the Dutch army. Cheers, Pieter

Pieter
This is a terrible situation of such criminal activities for no good reason other then destruction of property and violence against the police there to provide protection to life and property.
But, we as of yours and ours respective laws are against us in warrentless arrest and mass round ups of these individuals. There are of course, a course of action as always, it is just a issue as to how. For of each incident as indicated upon your respective videos, these groups gain confidence they are safe after each incident they manage with out arrest. As a consequence, this will not stop until those individuals that make up a group are seporated from society in a manner that is not to their liken. It is a matter of: Them or us.

Karl/Jaga, For the third night in a row, young people seek confrontation with the police on Sunday. In several places in the country, fires are started and heavy fireworks are set off. A primary school in the Southern Dutch city of Roosendaal was on fire due to a firework bomb. The police also have to act in the Eastern Dutch city Enschede on the boarder with Germany, in the city of Roosendaal in the South and in the Northern Frisian city Leeuwarden because of irregularities. For example, young people set off fireworks outside the Cambuur stadium in Leeuwarden. The ME (Dutch Riot Police) is forced to intervene against the hundreds of Cambuur supporters who have gathered around the stadium of their club. In the first six minutes, the Cambuur - FC Utrecht match had to be stopped twice, after which it remained restless on the square in front of the stadium. Chairman Jan Struijs of the Dutch Police Association reacts with dismay. “In many cities, police officers continue to be confronted with unprecedented and unsparing violence.” According to him, this “requires the utmost of police officers to protect their citizens and property”. "These are going to be exhausting days and weeks," predicts the NPB foreman. He receives support from the chairman of the police union ACP, who reacts stunned. “What else is there to say. We saw this coming. We follow it closely.” According to him, “the violence seems unlimited”. “ Police officers face an almost inhumane task." Emergency Ordinance It is also restless in the center of Enschede, where groups of young people have gathered this Sunday evening. There are also fireworks. Earlier today, an emergency ordinance was announced for the center. Police and ME are fully present in the city center. At least one arrest has already been made. It is also restless in several places in Roosendaal. There is a lot of riot police in the city and heavy fireworks are set off here and there. Several people have been arrested. A fire has started at De Gezellehoek primary school in the De Kroeven district, probably due to a fireworks bomb. Elsewhere in the city, fireworks are also set off and a cat-and-mouse game seems to be going on with the riot police, who are in the city with several vans. Weekend full of violence The unrest in several cities means a weekend full of violence for the police. That started on Friday evening with violent riots in Rotterdam. A day later things went wrong in several places in the Netherlands. The police had their hands full with young people who had gathered and set off fireworks, causing unrest. Calls were made via social media to gather in various places. Dozens of arrests resulted. Most arrests were made in The Hague, where a rioter threw a stone through the window of a passing ambulance. Both on Saturday and Sunday things went remarkably often around football matches. For example, several games in the Eredivisie were stopped because supporters had invaded stadiums. Fireworks were also set off near stadiums. The atmosphere campaign at the Rotterdamse Kuip also eventually got out of hand. A few hundred Feyenoord supporters came to the stadium to encourage their team, despite the empty stands, with a lot of fireworks. When a large part had left, the atmosphere changed after the break and the police were pelted with fireworks and cans. The police made 26 arrests there. The total number of arrests made in connection with the disturbances in the country is unknown at this time.
