The Netherlands have no Pro-Ukrainian heritage
An advisory referendum on the approval of the Ukraine–European Union Association Agreement was held in the Netherlands on 6 April 2016. The referendum question was: "Are you for or against the Approval Act of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine?"
With a turnout of 32.28%, the threshold for a valid referendum was met. 61% of the votes cast were against the Approval Act, and 38.2% in favour. This accounted for 19.5% of eligible voters voting against and 12.2% voting in favour. As the Act was rejected, the States General has to enact a follow-up law to either repeal the Act or put it into effect after all. The referendum is the first since the enactment of the Advisory Referendum Act (Wet raadgevend referendum) on 1 July 2015, with the Dutch tapping law referendum in 2018 to be the second.

Pro-Russian speech, Anti-Ukrainian/Anti-American and Pro-Russian/Pro-Viktor Orbán Dutch National Rightwing Populist Thierry BaudetThe whole cartel agrees: Russia is the aggressor. What hypocrisy. If your goal is to divide our continent, we are now on the right track. But if you want to stand up for Dutch interests and stability in the world, then we're doing it all wrong. #Forum for Democracy (political party).
Baudet speaks about the Great Recet, Thierry Baudet: "If you want to defend Dutch interests and peace you are doing it completely wrong as Dutch government", Baudet; "A Ukrainian membership of the EU and NATO would bring us on a coalision course with Russia, and the incredible complex and corrupt country the Ukraine, would bring us in trouble. Prime Minister Mark Rutte and minister of internal affairs Karin Hildur Ollongren ingored the outcome of the Ukraine referendum. In that sense I am not surprised about the way we are talking about Ukraine and Russia in the Dutch parliament." Baudet: "If your goal is to destroy the dutch economy, because energy prices will rise to record highs if we run out of gas. The aim is to restructure the internet via created panic about cyber attacks (Baudet makes quotes with his fingers), and to link it to your digital ID, as the QR code is also a manifestation of this. Look, if you want to realize the Great Reset, then you are doing very well now. After the whole Coroba scam, now the Russia scam to push people further into the 'New normal', into the 'Build Back Better ideology', but if you want to stand up for Dutch interests, peace and security in the world, then do we got it all wrong. Divide Europe, make sure that Eurasia is not united, make sure that Germany and Russia never come together, somehow in cooperation. But take the Eurasian country apart, then the Atlantean powers, the Oceanic powers, America and England can dominate the world. That's the great strategic direction we're still in and we let it dominate us. And so we think we're on the right track now, but we're trying to uphold the American divide and rule policy. "My vision is that Europe should fullfill a Bridge function between the East and West", Baudet; "Nothing People here (*in the Netherlands?) have learned from history, grand failures of Regime change in the Middle East, by a revolutionary agenda and megalomania, the yakies and the people here rumble on a deadly road to destabilization of the world and the hypocrisy that goes with it is most shocking. The total hypocrisy of looking away at hundreds of thousands of things that are happening in the world that are unacceptable. For example, cyber espionage by the United States. As revealed in Edward Snowden's NSA leaks. But screaming bloody murder over some bot that popped up in an email somewhere. I have much more to say about the absurd regime change attempts in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq and Russia's flawless stance in all those conflicts. All smoke screens and an Orwellian game of Oceania will always be at war with Eurasia. It would be best to advise Ukraine to become a neutral state like Finland and Austria, best to recognize Crimea as Russian, and to improve relations with Russia, that beautiful big country in the East." Baudet mentioned Halford Mackinder and Zbigniew Brzeziński in a negative sense of divide and rule.
Halford Mackinder wrote in the book Democratic Ideals and Reality: A Study in the Politics of Reconstruction Mackinder presented his theory of the Heartland. The book's most famous quote was: "Who rules East Europe commands the Heartland; Who rules the Heartland commands the World Island; Who rules the World Island commands the World." This message was composed to convince the world statesmen at the Paris Peace conference of the crucial importance of Eastern Europe as the strategic route to the Heartland was interpreted as requiring a strip of buffer states to separate Germany and Russia. These were created by the peace negotiators but proved to be ineffective bulwarks in 1939 (although this may be seen as a failure of other, later statesmen during the interbellum). The principal concern of his work was to warn of the possibility of another major war (a warning also given by economist John Maynard Keynes). * Question Pieter P.S.- I discovered that a lot of Continental European Rightwing National Populists have a fondness of Vladimir Putin, Viktor Orbán, Bashar al-Assad's Syrian Ba'ath regime, Benjamin Netanyahu and his Right-wing populist and Revisionist Zionist Likud Party. Viktor Orbán is close with both Vladimir Putin and Benjamin Netanyahu, his ideological brothers and men with whom Orbán has a good chemistry. Thierry Baudet is less good with Jews, and his party has some xenophobic, racist, antisemitic and islamophobe elements. Baudets Forum for Democracy is more extreme than the other 2 Dutch Rightwing National Populist parties, PVV and JA21. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Party_for_Freedom / en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geert_Wilders / nltimes.nl/2017/11/22/wilders-defends-russia-speaks-russophobiaen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forum_for_Democracy / en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thierry_Baudeten.wikipedia.org/wiki/JA21 / en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joost_EerdmansPVV/Geert Wilders and RussiaGeert Wilders in Russia in the Russian parliament, the Duma in Februari 2018Until about 2016, the PVV has kept its distance from Russia, unlike other right-wing populist politicians in Europe. Marine le Pen of the National Front visited President Vladimir Putin last March. Nigel Farage of the British Independence Party previously appeared frequently on Russia Today propaganda channel. An electoral competitor of Wilders on the right, Thierry Baudet (Forum for Democracy), said before that the Netherlands and other Western countries think too negatively about Russia.AllyIn Wilders' eyes, Russia is primarily an ally. “We must realize that Russia is our ally in the fight against terrorism and mass immigration from Africa. They have as much to do with that as we do.” He also believes that the Netherlands can learn from Russian patriotism.
