Pieter The Leopard tank and variants are very fine vehicles and some of your fine videos depict this with their performance under testing conditions. For as above, also very expensive and complicated machines to make them capable under most conditions expected in the field of combat. The complications extend beyond the mechanical, as being in the manner of extensive electronics in the manner of almost a armored computer. This then requires very well trained crews to man such a machine, with this though, the machine has in the manner of self trouble shooting in the case of a malfunction of one or more of the various electronic systems both electro-mechanical or exclusively one of the sensor fault detecting systems. This may then be analyzed by the crew for reset or as the situation calls for, repair or replacement as the situation calls for. It needs be noted, that no manner the capability of weapons such as the tank/panzer, the capability and lethality is dependent upon how well the crews are trained in the capabilities of the tank as a weapon. The Americans do have a very fine machine in the M1 Abrams tank. It has been in service for many years and appears for many years yet to come, for this is the proof of a well designed machine as the M1 Abrams has proved to be. The following is the procedure of taking in worn machines that are disassembled to the bare box frame to then remanufacture to new. Although this video is dated, it is still valid in the process: www.cnet.com/pictures/building-the-u-s-armys-m1a2-abrams-tank-pictures/Karl

Dear Karl,
Thank you for your meaningful reply. The Leopard 2 tank and then M1 Abrams tank will bot play and important task pin protecting Central and Eastern-Europe and maybe also other parts of Europe in the case of large European tank battles in the case of an Europeam Third World War. That world war will like the Japane4se say be probably not only an European one but maybe also an Eastern-Asian and Pacific one as well. China will try to take Taiwan and the USA, Japan and South-Korea will put up resistance to that Chinese plan. In such a case Russian will build some Axis Powers with Belarus, China, Syria, Iran and North Korea. North Korea might support China by firing missiles at Japan and South-Korea and at US Navy ships in that region/
Cheers. Pieter
