Germany puts Gazprom Germania under state trusteeship | DW News Apr 4, 2022
German Economy Minister Robert Habeck said on Monday he had appointed the Federal Network Agency as a trustee for the German subsidiary of the Russia's Gazprom.
Habeck justified the move by citing unclear legal relationships and a breach of reporting regulations.
On April 1, Russian energy giant Gazprom announced that it was separating from its wholly owned subsidiary.
Gazprom Germania owns other companies in the German gas industry, including the gas supplier Wingas, the gas storage operator Astora and a minority stake in the gas transportation company Gascade.

John, thanks for an update. This is not surprising in current situation. If somebody asked me about the pipe through Baltic from Russia to Germany one year ago - I was still believing that this is for good and Poland is just jealous. Now I understand how Russia wanted to leverage this coming war.

J.J.
A very serious situation as you have brought forward of the damper placed upon this business dealing between Russia and Germany in the manner of transshipment of earth gas to Germany by undersea pipeline. For this is a very delicate situation in the manner of uninterruptable energy supplies for industrial needs. For as very well known, German industry is the life blood of the country and take precedence over most all business dealings and international friendships.
In our known world, most all things are in a constant state of change and flux, in this manner, change must be exchanged for answers. Answers in self are not acceptable, but only solutions are correct.
