Pieter A very nice presentation of Persian peoples their manner and sense of humour. Speaking for my self, I have only met a very few Iranian people, but thought them to be polite and handsome people. It was a dark day upon the rule of Khomeini and their destructive religious ways. Hopefully the day will arrive for them to leave the people alone and leave the country as they should. The other aspect you have brought out is, Persians are certainly not Arab but as mentioned, Persian even from the Babylonian days of the land between two rivers. Of out of text noten: The Persian king, "Cyrus", conquered Babylonia in year 539 BCE, for this was the strength of the Persian state at that time. The Perians/Iranians have a great deal of history to them for their credit. bible.org/seriespage/5-rise-and-fall-babylonKarl
