Hi Leni...Welcome to the forum. Stay as long as you like. We have another member that occasionally visits us and lives in Warsaw. He writes a great blog so is too busy to join us very often. Sometimes Mohamed must go to the mountain. ;D

Well specially for uncltim Yes im a student in 2nd grade in high school (so in next year i got graduation and probably i will choose studies). Well i have never been to states, maybe in some distant future i will visit it but only in touristic purposes or as a hunting trip (yes im a hunter this old style polish one ). But i have travelled almost whole europe (France oh god this country is terrible, Germany, Luxewmburg, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Macedonnia). Kinda wierd i know english best from all my languages (except polish ) and i wasnt even once in english speaking country :<. But my point in this counting is that everywhere i was i have met Polish people living there or just passing by, always, we are everywhere

Leni, without the Polish the world would be a miserable place. The region of the U.S. that I was raised in was mostly Polish, German and Swedish. I too am a hunter and less so a fisherman. It would be great if you could come for a hunt. welcome! Tim

Hi to all!
It seems like I already know all of you as I am occasionally referred to by my wife in here as "Mr. Hollister". I figured that it was high time that I got my own account as a member and jump into the forum.
I've been in the Army since I was "conscripted" in 1974. I started in Aviation (Helicopters and air traffic control), and my last posting, for the last 6 years and 4 months, has been as the Communications Officer for the Coalition of 65 nations involved in the Central Command area of operations. My last day at CENTCOM will be Monday, 31 MAR, and Chris (Holly) and I are headed back to Idaho temporarily. I am expecting a follow-on assignment to Europe at the end of April or in May.
During my tour of duty with the coalition countries, it has been my privilege to travel all over the world, to include 30 trips to Poland. I fell in love with it my first time there. My mother's family name is Orchowski and I finally got to see all the places that the family talked about as I was growing up. I've also gotten to see the UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Albania, Romania, Georgia, Bosnia, and last but not least Estonia. So you can see why with me being on the road, Holly has been able to spend so much time on the forum!
I also collect firearms (go figure after nearly 35 years in the army!), and have gotten some of the finest pistols in the world in my collection - from the FB Radom factory! My latest one is a TT-33 made in Radom, as well as a P64, two great P-35's, one pre war, with no German markings! If only pistols could talk and tell of their adventures.
I hope to be a good member here, not cause any heart ache and jump in where I can.
GLAD to be here.
Wayne

Hi Wayne (I'm standing to attention as I write this!!!) Welcome to the forum in your own right - you have been mentioned many times by Chris , so I can imagine quite a number of members will be pleased to see that you really exist! I feel it was a privilege to get to know you earlier and will look out with interest any comments you make on any subjects. One thing I have always meant to ask is 'Which country, in which you were posted at some time, do you put at the top of your list of the best/most pleasant/etc ?' (and don't say UK just to please me because I've asked the question!!!!) So, again, welcome and look forward to your involvement as much as possible, bearing your duties in mind. Leslie

Welcome Wayne;; Its nice to see another Military guy in here... I think that I asked Chris as to your Polish connection. Is it from her side? I never did find out what her maiden name was. She has a way of distorting her answers to my questions.
