Chris! A very, very Happy Belated Birthday! So how did it go and what did you do? The other Chris (Holly) Thanks Holly... Well I woke up to a great start to find box full of email from Members. They chose one of my fotos and featured it on Webshots as the POD. (WOW...they could have picked anyone but took one of mine) Then just some shopping and dinner, drinks later to complete the day. Pretty much a laid back day. Oh and my mom forgot my birthday. I had to call her to razz her about it of course. (she is 86 so understandable..LOL) I even gave her a hint and asked what she was doing 60yrs ago. ;D ;D ;D (yeah Id want to forget too if I had me) Chris (the naughty one) ;D ;D ;D

Chris,
I totally missed this one, since I am to bussy sometimes to check the Forum every day.
I hope that you had a nice day with that good diner (I hope the food was OK), a couple of good North-American beers or Californian wine, shopping (finding a nice dress, skirt or other products you liked and needed) and saw some family or friends and things you like. Ofcourse this message comes a couple of weeks to late, but I wanted to say this!
About your mother. I am terrible in remembering names and birthdays too, but I do not have the excuse of my age. Even if I have written em down, than it might happen that I forget them. Out of guilt I make a great party at my own birthday every year, and there the people I forgot have a great time. I make em diner, and have some good drinks and snacks for the latecommers, and cake for everyone. Sometimes I remember appointments and meetings, so do not have to look in my agenda, but names and birthdays I forget easily. Only the birthdays of my parents and my sister are in my head. This is not because they do not interest me, but because my head is full of information all the time, and sometimes there is the information-overload. I try to be selective and that's good, but every now I forgot a birtday of a family member, friend or Forum member.
I should have a calander in my bathroom like many Dutch families have with the birthdays of loved ones, family and friends.
Pieter

You have a whole new year of your life to celebrate! Actually every day is a gift, so we should celebrate every day as a gift of life. By doing the things you like, giving attention to the things you love or are fond of, and in general make a good day out of every day. That's the celebration of life.
This was sincere, it suprises me to hear this comming from my own moth, is this comming from the Fatalist or Pessimist I usually am? The world is not that bright and OK, but individuals, nature, art and culture are!
Birthday is not the only day, you can party on other days to, is what I wanted to say!

In the Netherlands an adult farytale tels us that atired traveller or guest could lay their heads at the bar between the boobs of the lady of the Inn. You know the type of lady that surves large pilsner at a Munich beerfest, not trying to hide her features! ;D ;D ;D

Dear Chris
I'm always late, but I eventually arrive. I hope the next `12 months will bring nought but success, enjoyment, happiness and most of all MONEY!
It helps to have the angels on your side:
May you always have an angel by your side Watching out for you in all the things you do Reminding you to keep believing in brighter days Finding ways for your wishes and dreams to take you to beautiful places Giving you hope that is as certain as the sun Giving you the strength of serenity as your guide May you always have love and comfort and courage And may you always have an angel by your side.
May you always have an angel by your side Someone there to catch you if you fall Encouraging your dreams Inspiring your happiness Holding your hand and helping you through it all
In all our days our lives are always changing Tears come along as well as smiles Along the roads you travel, may the miles be a thousand times more lovely than lonely May they give you the gifts of life that never, ever end; Someone wonderful to love And a friend in whom you can confide.
May you have rainbows after every storm May you have hopes to keep you warm And may you always have an angel by your side.
Always your friend (may be an angel soon!)
Leslie
