I usually don't flog other websites on this forum but, I am going to make an exception. If you like Tall Tales, Short Stories, Poetry, Inspiration and Music ; then I invite you to pay a visit to this site. I have added it to my Favorites list and make a visit there often. You can not see everything in one day but in a way, that makes it great. The site is run by a retired U.S. Marine in Texas and the content is not what you would expect from a person with this background. The website is: www.palletmastersworkshop.comAdvice: A. Turn up your speakers for music. B. Have plenty of Kleenix or crying towel handy (for emotional types) C. Click the links at the top of the page. D. Bookmark the site because ther is not enough time in one day to enjoy all that is offered.

;D Good morning John. How are you today? Did you visit the site yet? A stranger or one who is not in the know might expect a site devoted to rifles, guns, hunting, fishing etc. Those who visited the site without knowing the background of the author would suspect that the person had done this all his life and they might not know the background of this one tough individual. I really like the site and sent an e-mail to the author thanking him for the site and asking about his background: he responded almost immediatly.

;D Forza. It is not hard to go through a box of tissue or get a crying towel completly wet after visiting this site. I think some of the visitors from other Countries would get a better insight to Americans and it would bring back a lot of memories to some of us old-timers.

as an old timer! . Hi Kai I do not think of myself as an old timer in spite of my avatar! But reading many of the Palletmaster poems I find tears rolling down my cheeks as a) they hit the nail on the head for me and b) many express the words/feelings I would like to send to one person but cannot. To **** with this idea that 'men don't cry'. Leslie

Forza You are a wonder (I think that is the word!) - it must be my age , I didn't see that little button even though I have used 'quote'. Isn't it nice to know that I think you can always be relied upon! Leslie ;D

Leslie, Unless perhaps you have figured, on an accidental multiple post. Once posted, if you look to the upper right corner of your post that wish to have removed. There is a delete icon, click on that, then a small window will open asking for your permission, and it is done.
Hope this helps
