Jaga, there is a quote from one of internet sites: "Najmłodszy z nich, Andrzej, został sekretarzem polskiego króla Władysł awa IV, a potem posłem tegoż króla w Niderlandach. To właśnie jego portret wykonał w roku 1637 sam mistrz Rembrandt. Portret ten, noszący tytuł „Mężczyzna w futrzanej czapce”, nadal pozostaje w rodzinie Rejów. Aktualnie znajduje się on w Stanach Zjednoczonych, w zbiorach rodzinnych." I am not sure if this is the same picture, but in Rembrandt catalogue it is listed as Polish Nobleman, as mentioned in previous posts. Since the man on the picture wears a fur hat, just like in quote, maybe this is the same. And, look at reply #5 by Chris, which provided a correct answer for question you posted in reply #7. I believe credit should go to Chris.Yanc, thanks, I hope this is the same picture. One thing- which I am not sure - Polish nobleman should be in New York gallery. Maybe there is still another picture (except the Polishnobleman and Polish rider). I do not know, we will be able to clarify it soon, I hope

I'll take the credit but only if it means a free trip to Poland.
