Jim,
That is an interesting website, and the photos are terrific!
Your trip is coming up soon, isn't it? How long will you be in Poland?

Jim
Very excellent photos of your home village. I was struck by the figurine at the cemetery. The photos were very excellent of the village and surrounding area.
I pulled up some full screen expansion of some of the photos and they were so clear!

Here is a URL Skrwilno a village about 1km from where my family comes from. There is a link on the site to aerial shots of the town. The church has a cemetery in the back where most of my ancestors are buried. skrwilno.republika.pl/Jim, beatiful pictures, especially this one: I wonder whether everybody would be able to see it!

It truly looks like a great place. Looking at the place from Szczecin home makes me (again) dreaming of moving into the country. I enjoyed the pics of bike race and horses on that site. With all due respect though Skrwilno ain't the village but a small town.

Jaga,
At the bottom of that picture and to the right about 2km is the family farm . No horses any more just tractors. I did see one horse drawn cart in Kasmier Dolny last trip.

I have uploaded the village pictures I had. If anyone recognizes it maybe you can tell me the name and exact location. I just know it was around town of Chechowice-Dzeid. and outside of Kracow. community.webshots.com/user/rdywenurLook in Polish Culture Album.
