Hi guys I (for one) would find it interesting, useful and valuable to have a listing in one place of all the forum members who have photo albums or collections of their photos (ie if they are willing to do so). I know these references are scattered throughout the forum postings, but they tend to get lost in the mist of the multitude of postings. Perhaps if we posted our public references, Nancy (good ole Nancy) might produce the list and, say, publish it on the main Culture site? For example, the reference to my Webshots albums is: Leslie community.webshots.com/user/ellray100Any views? Leslie

Scatts Ho Ho Ho - a Derbyshire Duck!! I live in Killamarsh, NE Derbyshire - the bit that sticks out into South Yorkshire. When I first came here I couldn't get used to the 'Duck', so I decided to run a one-man war against it and when anyone said it to me I answered 'Quack'. Believe me I got a lot of funny looks. and 'Pardon?'s. Thanks for your photo collection reference - no doubt when America eventually wakes up, Nancy might say what she thinks of the idea, Pozdrawiam bardzo Leslie

Scatts Just had a quick canter through your albums - what a good collection and so reminiscing for me - you even have Chatsworth shots (I've just put a Chatsworth album reference on the forum and one or two selected shots as postings. From your collection we seem to have visited a lot of the same places, some of mine years ago. I was surprised to see no Krakowian shots in your collection. I think most of my Polish shots are of there - it is certainly my preferred city and it is so photogenic. But I didn't realise some of the opportunities in Warszawa - this I will remedy on my next visit. Leslie

Leslie: Excellent idea! You help me organize the list and I will find a prominent place for it Scatts: WOW! I am truly impressed by your photos. I have not yet gone through all your galleries in detail but I am blown away by many of your images. I would like to feature your Warsaw albums on the PolishCulture website, and especially with All Saint's Day coming up, I'd like to discuss with you using a couple of your cemetery photos to highlight the day. Here are my albums: community.webshots.com/user/nancyjmblake

Nancy By all means I will help.
If members with albums/collections they wish to make public, if they send the link details to me I shall add them to the three I have already: you, Scatts and myself.[/u]
By all means use any of my photos. If you want any sent in any format, let me know. Otherwise just pick them off!

Leslie, hard to believe but that's the first time I've heard that expression although I am obviously well used to hearing the family say things like "eh up mi duck" (with a hard 'u' of course) so I can understand where it originates from. As for Krakow, you're right, there are hardly any photos. A few from when my family visited but really nothing. I think this must be because we have not been there for a while, possibly not since I've owned the D70. This will be rectified soon as there is a wealth of material down there.
Nancy, no problem and very embarrassed at all the positive comments! Perhaps send me a mail with what it is you want to do/use and we can work out how to make it happen. I've got originals somewhere (hard to keep track of them all) if better resolution is needed than what is stored on PBase.
I promise to work my way through all of your galleries sometime soon!

Jim, A very, very nice website of your familie, grandparents, parents, you and your wife, your daughters and grand kids. It seems as if you have succeeded in realizing the American dream, your grandparents strarted. In enjoyed the old and new photo's. Visualy seen it is a nice, kind and strong family, the Przedzienkowski's. Your wife and her parents are nice too. I liked the old photographs of Lillian, Irene, Lucille, Julie, Joanne, Nora and Florence Przedzienkowska. The old photographs from the twenties with written ball point remarks on it. Vic Michlich with his new Ford touring car 5/30/1925. Albert and Ethel Blackman in his diner in Little Falls, NY, and you in 1955 and your wife Linda in 1965 with her Nancy Sinatra look. Phantastic Jim. Great way to honour a family and show an heritage in images! Pieter

Thanks, for your comments on the web site. It was given to me for Fathers day by one of my daughters. Some of the old pictures are great. I started my genealogy research years ago and have collected many old and new pictures. Glad you enjoyed the site. I will keep updating it as time permits.
