Scatts So pleased the visit went off well in spite of little Zosia going bananas! Did you get her to see the dragon - I'm sure that would have kept her quiet for a few minutes. I really must be getting old as I always enjoy that train journey rather than by car - time to sit, have a nap, look at the beautiful scenery moving by, and hope you are lucky with your fellow compartment passengers!!! Look forward very much to seeing your photos - I could look at photos of Krakow until my eyes permanently close. Leslie

Scatts,
how old Zosia is? There is a certain age for kids when it is just difficult to take them anywhere. Sometimes it is easier with 1 year olds than with 3 years old. I remember when my daughter hated to sit in the carseat. She was doing everything to get out of it. She was about 3 years old. In that time I would rather prefer her to be.... younger and less complaining (or screaming).
I am glad you are done in Krakow. Ulica Kupa is a historical street in Kazimierz. The name KUpa comes from the name of the synagogue that was funded from the money of the Jewish Kahal kaha³u (mi-kupat ha-kahal).

Scatts All I can say is - superb. Your camera takes a fantastically sharp and clear picture, and the man behind it knows what he's doing! Many thanks for sharing these with us. Leslie

Jaga, Zosia is 4 on March 18 next year. She was much easier to handle up to the age of about 2 although the problem then was all the gear you had to cart around with you, especially when she was a baby. There's a golden moment when you don't need all the stuff but she's not yet crazy, trouble is that lasts for about 3 months!
Leslie, thanks! I'm glad I was able to do justice to your favourite Polish city.

OK, I finally got off my duff and posted some pictures - They are "snaps" not the professional pictures of Leslie and Scatts. I still have to organize the Warsaw, Gdansk, Malbrok, Gydina, Sopot, Oliwa, the castles and rafting picts. So I will post as I have time. Click on the picture if you want to see the album - I think I titled it "Krakow Sep 06" Scatts, Glad you had a good time in Krakow. Sorry that Zosia was a handful but treasure those times as much as when she is a perfect angel --- childhood goes so fast and soon you will be wondering where she has gone. P.S. I enjoyed your articles. Well done!

Scatts,
Great photos as always. I hate when I come to the end.
I did not see any signs of Zosia misbehaving. Just smiling and as cute as ever. I think you are fibbing. If you think 3 1/2 is bad wait till she turns into a teenager and you must carry a bat to beat the boys away.

Holly, enoyed the photos, thanks. You got a few that I should have, but didn't, like the Wyspianski "Become!" window, for example. Keep forgetting to go there! Looking forward to seeing the rest. Zosia. We do obviously lover her to death even when she's a little crazy. It's just harder work when you have be telling her to stop doing something every 10 seconds, the whole weekend. She is at that point where if you put her in a situation where there are 50 possibilities that are good and 1 that is bad, she going to choose that one! Boyfriends, yes, I'm not looking forward to that but I suppose it has to happen sometime.
