My mother in law became interested in Polish pottery and it is not thanks to me but thanks to one of her American friend... here are some pictures of her Polish pottery: the pictures are a bit fuzzy since I did it without the flash later when I became her daughter in law she felt in love in Polish easter eggs and other Polish art stuff, but the pottery is not thanks to me...

Excellent collection. I think I have the same cheese lady and the heart shape bowl amongst my collection. I just recieved a very pretty vase for Christmas. There are so many patterns but not so many available here to the states. I still wish they would import some garden vases (which are so beautiful) to the US. check out the ogrod vases (click on Galeria) www.ceramicboleslawiec.com.pl/

We went to the Boleslawiec store in Warszawa last week. My daughter only wanted that for Christmas. Nice store at Prosta and Jan Pawel II. She bought a bunch of stuff. She got the Orange and blue pattern from Unikat.

Jim, how nice!
Chris,
I posted the collection of my mother in law because I remember that you posted a wonderful pottery set which you prepared for Christmas Table. This cheese lady is really my favorite My mother in law bought the majority of the items in San Antonio .... military base store which is only available for military families. We went there at the end of December and they have even more items than usual. Many people were stopping by Polish pottery and buying some.
I would gladly buy some if I would not need to carry it with me to Idaho!

Jaga if that was me I would have gotten at least one piece especially if you had the chance to buy at military cost which probably was next to nothing. (My friend used to occassionally pick up Hummels there for me for pennies literally) I would have had it shipped to my house if I did not wish to carry them. I have done this occcasionally when traveling. Agift to oneself when you arrive
