More pictures from this summer I put a couple of pictures in at the end of the set of the ruins of the lower castle - it should be noted that this damage is due to ALLIED bombing runs. Allied planes would use Malbrok as a "dumping ground" for unexpended bombs as it was 1) easy to find and two used by Hitler as a training ground - especially for the young boys By the way, if you have not been to Westerplatte, I HIGHLY recommend a trip. An amazing place rift with history. I wonder why the US and the other allies has not offered some type of thank you and a promise that we too remember these men.
