What I can add is Pawian could easily present pics from Poland making an impression this is a fairlyland. And he could make a presentation of Germany looking like a third world country. Since your profession was a spy or something like that you know how propaganda or manipulation works. Hmm, don`t you think it would be too cruel to present photos of 3rd world Germany? Charles might get a heart attack and it would be our fault, bad Christians. Fairy land Germany. After all, Grimm brothers were German. Charles just loves those views from Bavaria. Let`s make him happy.

Pawian, The photos are beautiful and interesting. Thanks! Mary Thanks for your thanks. Yes, most photos that I find are nice and there are quite a lot of them, to the extent that I am amazed myself. However, that there are less nice views too. Like in every country. Łódź, except for a few buildings it is probably one of the ugliest major cities in Poland. I am still impressed that even the industrializes cities as you have shown are so clean looking! Must be a polish trait, my grandmother never had a speck of dirt in her house. And the outside was just as well kept! Mary

Coming from a Texan who has never been out of my country, the pictures of Poland and of now Germany are awesome. Those who can travel far and wide to see the sights our world bestows upon us, are truly blessed. I am grateful that I am able to view such pictures.

Pawian Do not listen to Livia, we certainly do have some very loused areas that are not only ugly, but stinks. Most are in the Former East {Germany} such as Erfurt. Yes, the Bavarians do have some bragg rights! Appears to be one of residences once used by the former past King Lüdwig. Very lovely photos Pawian,yes.. And no, I would not have a heart attact, for what is true,is true, we do have some stinking industrial areas. And not always the Autobahn is quick, but the Deutsche Bahn will always be on time.. Well,,and a big well. Much depends upon the drivers union, if they keep their word for no strike through 6 Januar 2008. www.db.de/site/bahn/en/start.htmlCharles

Come on, nie daj się długo prosić. hahahahaha Naciągacz! Bad boy!! You know it's to you!!! It is YOU who present lots of pics without a single EDUCATIVE description!!!! And I DID provide a link to information about Pułtusk. o!

Come on, nie daj się długo prosić. hahahahaha You know that I am an extremely nice and very helpful person. I never fail anyone in need (if I like the creature, of course. ). So here we go. All the corners of Poland Livia likes part 1. hahahaha. The seaside. (None of the pics was made by me (unfortunately). All pics were done in Hel Penisula and around Gdynia, Gdańsk, Sopot. North from Warszawa, 3,5 hours on the intercity train. ) Fig 1. The very tip of Hel Penisula. The most eastward part. Town of Hel is visible. Cosy and romantic. Fig 2.The base of Hel Penisula. The most westward part. Town of Władysławowo. Busy and loud. Fig 3. Marina in the city of Gdynia. Fig 4. Somewhere in between town of Hel and Gdynia - the Pucka Gulf (Zatoka Pucka). Always great winds and waves for sports. Fig 5. Swimmers in Baltic. Fig 6. Town of Sopot lies between Gdynia and Gdańsk. The three form The Tricity (Trójmiasto). A must see. Fig 7. Hotel Grand and a pier in Sopot. In high season both serve as the latest fashion catwalk. Lovely out of the season. Fig 8. Back on Hel Penisula. Dom Zdrojowy Hotel in Jastarnia. Luxurious and secluded. Great but expensive. Fig 9. Village of Jastarnia. Fig 10. Gdańsk. The port. Fig 11. Gdynia. The port. Fig 12. Gdynia. The port. Fig 13. Gdynia. The port. Fig 14. Gdynia. The port. Fig 15. Back in Sopot. The beach. Fig 16. Sopot. The pier. Fig 17. Cliff near Gdynia Fig 18. On the beach Fig 19. Near Jurata (Hel Penisula) Fig 20 Near Jurata. In December it's good to think about being there again.

Livia A beautiful set of photographs in such a variety. Thank you.
One plea - for the sake of an ignorant Englishman, could you put a little title along with the photos so that I can be sure at what I am looking?
Please continue sending any photos you come across - we are building up a remarkable collection on the forum (even with Pawi's ones!!!!!)

Don`t you understand he is tired of watching mere photos which satisfy his need for esthetic excitement but do not fulfill his desire to broaden his intellectual knowledge? ?? Simply speaking, he wants more writing: history, geography, economy and everything you know about EACH place! Can you do it or not? hahahahahaha

Livia
Very lovely sea side photos! All so very modern and beautiful with some very breathtaking indeed.
The cruise ships porting, were very interesting {It would be more interesting for a few weeks cruise}.
It matters not the photographer, it is the resulting image that is important.
{It appears that of your self and Pawian, have developed into important craftspeople in photojournalism} for through your efforts, you bring enjoyment to others with the sense of travel.
Charles
Thank you for your sharing

There are some ugly sites in my own home town of where property owners do not keep up their properties even tho there they may face city fines. But these ugly pictures along with the nice "postal card" pictures make up our world.
