Germany for some years has been the entry door for the Eastern Neigbours to provide a show case into the Western market. The vehicle of success, is of the various farm produce fairs as of this in currant as of 18-27 Januar 2008.
These fair show cases, of agriculture both an instructive experience in attendence, as also a very important economic measure of business attendence as a method to bring together, the foreign business representatives of source, to team up with the various representatives of West European whole sale outleten/Retail sales outleten.
The purpose only of this presentation, is to provide information of todays Europe to those holding of such interest.

The IGW is a one-of-a-kind international exhibition for the food, agricultural, and horticultural industries. Established in 1926 it will take place for the 73 rd time in 2008. Producers from all over the world use the IGW to test-market food and luxury items and establish a brand image. Exhibitors often organize around national, regional, or product themes. Presentations feature fresh produce, fish, meats, and dairy products. These combine with a vast selection of international wine, beer, and spirits specialties, to satisfy every culinary palate. Right in line with consumer trends, the IGW also includes direct agricultural sales and the BIO MARKT organic products section.
The IGW also features commercial and non-commercial agricultural, forestry, and landscaping exhibits. Changing annual themes typically include such topics as renewable resources or scientific livestock breeding and production. These trade show elements are of particular interest to those involved in the developing markets of central and eastern Europe.

- Fresh produce of all kinds
- Beer, wine, and spirits
- Meats and sausages
- Seafood
- Teas, herbs, and spices
- Agricultural and horticultural equipment, machinery, and fixtures

International Agricultural Policy Forum with 800 paticipants, as well as congress forums on agriculture, livestock breeding, and industrial/energy crops.
A special "Freshness Forum" -Meat produce - is held for food industry representatives.
