Pro-European president Boris Tadić wins presidential elections in Serbia against nationalistic opponent! These are news both good and of great importance to Poland and EU. Serbia is a small but very importnat country in the heart of Balkans.

Livia,
What do know of him, what do the people think of him? Can he help or hurt Poland in any dealings?

This is reasonable as you have brought forward. There are though, some very unreasonable constituents that are very currant and real. One situation that is currant and present, is the investment into the energy infrastructure that Russia has in-placed into Serbia. And the other is {Kosovo}. Serbia is absolutely set against a break away of that province at all cost. Then there is the American standing with the Albanians for their fight for Independence. {I had and now lost, a very recent paper written by -Condoleezza Rice on her report of this region, and it totally exempted this situation-I will try to re-locate it}. In light of above, there appears to be a line up of superpowers on this issue between The Russian Federation and The United States with Serbia in-between. www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=7926--Found it-- US Office-Prestina Kosovo {1/23/08} pristina.usmission.gov/uploads/images/8ZT73mBUHONi7MEz2BYuSQ/Kosovo_one_pager.pdfCharles

Thank you Charles, nice and clear data! I was aware of the energy deal but didn't want to introduce too many variables
