Brr... winter. I can't wait for it to be over!
Then again, in Idaho, you actually have sunlight in the winter, which, unfortunately, Petersburg doesn't have. From 10 am to 3 pm the sky lights up a little bit, but with 100% cloudcover, it's still extremely dark outside.

Eric,
nice to hear from you. We have a very cold and snowy winter now. I just got the e-mail that the cars are stucked on the roads, they had 6-7 inches of fresh snow during the last 1-2 days. God bless we made it here.
Texans think it is cold there since at night the temperature drop to 40-es

Hi Holly,
nice picture. I hope you would not have any rain on Sunday. I just talked to our neighbours from Idaho Falls. The most snow they got was on Monday when we were leaving.
Here in Texas the temperature is in high 70-es and low 80-es. My inlaws turned on the airconditioning and it feels better.

Wow, winter in Idaho seems really beautiful! We do have snow in Warsaw, but unfortunately the winter holidays are over and it is the first day of everyday life for everyone...

What wonderful photographs of your home! Winter is the time of play for the little ones and a time of observance for the elders. It was very good of you to share of this...
There must be a considerable Russian number of families there and perhaps some Ukrainian. I am only of guessing for the children's costumes they have for the holiday time..I was not aware of this influence, but then should not be so for the climate.
Were per-chance, they were to play also Russian music with the nutcracker?
Thank you for sharing, for it is nice to see what this land looks like you live in at present. For until of late, I was of little knowledge of Idaho. For now I see and understand the wonders of that land with the rugged and variety it holds with only that beauty that is specific only to Idaho.

These kids were not Russians but they were a part of the ballet. They were great, I wish you could see it. Yes, they were dancing to the nutcracker music.
I am glad you liked the pictures of Idaho. Idaho is really the most beautiful in winter
