i have a step daughter 12 years old. her father is Anglo (Owen) and mother polish (wasielewski). we live in USA.she signed up for African American culture because Anglo was full. we decided polish was a better choice for her after a quick but heated debate. she needs a flag which i have ordered some traditional polish food and a brief cultural history. could anyone send an extra tasty farworki recipe or suggest something easy and sweet that could be cooked the night before and taken to school the next day. also polish history/people suggestions so we may look them up. thank you so much in advance.

Hi, how a nice idea to let a girl to know Polish culture! Here are many Polish recipes, some with pictures: www.polishsite.us/food-and-recipes.htmlhere is a recipe for faworki. They are really delicious! Let girl do the dough and cut it into the squares but let the adult to drop the twisted filngers into the hot oil, since it is really hot. I think I had more pictures how to do faworki than just this one... let us know whether it was tasty!
