Carl Absolutely good show on your part with the url. To travel around beyond all the smoke and mirrors. We finally arrive at what it is all about. Once again the double headed snake raises it head, as money, microwave ovens and computer chips. With the Euro some what in higher monetary value then the dollar, this places it directly against New York exchange and that of the London exchange. Most aptly demonstrated by the following url. 100777.com/node/1196The above is one of the better write ups of the foreseeable future in this currant issue. Charles

Charles, So I think with Iran and nukes it's the terrorists that will use them not Iran. Unless they are very very stupid. Unless the US can come up with a way to show where the nuclear material originated we have a conundrum to solve. Because the terrorists have no compunction is using them against us. And if we could identify the source the source would not be so likely to give the nukes to anyone in fear of retaliation. Jim, there are four conditions here: first - Iran need to build nuclear weapons second- they have to give it to so called terrorists third-terrorists need to have some means to use them fourth- terrorists need to try to use it everything is conditional and everything is 'if" you know that when you calculate the probability of the independent events it multiplies, so in the final result we have zero. ++++++ Instead of attacking another country and killing civilians America should stop killing and genocide in Darfur, but I do not believe that this is something FoxNews likes to talk about.

Jaga,
Yes a lot of 'ifs' as usual. I agree If Iran builds nuclear weapons. So called terroists, what would you call them? Freedom fighters for what country. Dirty bombs don't take much means. The UN is in Darfur. I'm sure the pentegon looks at threats and prioritized the deployment of troops I wish we had not gone to Iraq. In fact I wish we could be isolationists. Then each country could take care of itself and stop asking America to do this or that. I'm tired of it.

The Iranians have been trying for some years now to build a nuclear powered electrical generating system for some years now. The Israelis bombed out that last attempt, and with out any retaliation against them, or even any condemnation from the western powers, primarily that of the USA. Once again, the Iranians are attempting to build an electrical power generating system powered up by nuclear energy. The alternative energy source would be earth gas or petroleum. Of this source, would take away petroleum products for sale on the world market. Whilst nuclear energy in this case, is a very excellent source of heat. Heat is what transforms common water in to steam, steam heat energy then is routed to the steam turbines that transform this rotating energy by common shaft connection to the generator shafts. This in turn transforms rotating energy into electrical energy. The electrical energy then is transported by wire to locations of domestic use, and to market users previously contracted for payment. The primary treats to world peace in this process are two fold: The Israelis and the Americans. And this is where world peace is at the moment a threat. For the Iranians have not bombed any one lately, they have not invaded another sovereign nation for a very long time (Iraq was the last). Their big sin is this: A very big loud mouth and attempting to fulfill some very large electrical energy contracts with the use of nuclear energy as a heat source. www.menareport.com/en/business/194991No more, no less. What ever else is in the works, is entirely the over worked emaginations of others with out the reality of the present. Charles

I call these people so called "terrorists" because people who are against Am. forces in Iraq are not unites, there are different groups - some of them - of course I would never like to meet on the street, even during the daylight some, unfortunately came to fight because we are there, otherwise they would be doing more positive things in life. Jim- as you know, in Physics nothing is ideal or perfect like in math. Being isolationist and going to Iraq - are two extreme positions, there is variety of other positions. Not everything is black and white, there are many shades of grey

Then of course, there is the economic havoc they will cause for America if they do establish the oil market based in Euros instead of the Dollar. Last one to try that was Iraq. It worked well for them... until we invaded.
If all those petro dollars start migrating back to the US we will have a tough time adapting!

I think perhaps the administrators of the federal budget best sharpen up their pencils and figure out how to cut down the balance of payments to China, and Arab family states.
with all the exporting of American manufacturing to foreign nations with slave labour practices. The former enimies will eventually own the USA by buying out companies, services, and port security companies. Perhaps this is what the term,"globalization is all about".
This morning, I put on my undercloths (labeled, made in Bangladesh) (I then put on my undershirt, labled made in, well I do not know, it is printed in Spanish) I then put on my socks, very unusual, printed: made in USA. I then put on my easy fit jeans, printed: made in Mexico. Then my shoes, very comfortable, lable says: Made in China (very excellent shoes, sears die hard typen). Before going out the door, I put on my jacket; label says: made in Sri Lanka. I then entered my Jetta (Bora) labled: made in Germany/opps, this is a Mexico model, important systems are made in Germany, remainder is crap, made in Mexico.
Then to Walmart, and process begins over once more.
