I am sorry to hear of your father' death today, Jaga. I hope a part of your consolation is that he lead a long and productive life, and I wish you many smiles as you remember your times with him!

Jaga, I am so sorry for your loss. My parents are long gone, but I often feel they are still with me. I hope you may have a similar experience. Must be something in our Polish genes. With deepest sympathy, Joan

Jaga,
I'm so very sorry to learn of your father's death. The death of a parent is always so difficult, but take comfort in the wonderful fruits of his life, which include you and your beautiful daughter.

Jaga, I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family. Your father was a very accomplished man. I lost my mother Dorothy a few months ago. It was very difficult for me.
Peace to you and your family. -Tim

Thank you all for your condolences. It feels strange since I am so far away and cannot do too much besides trying to contact some people here and in Poland. Tim, sorry for your mother's loss Karl, I am so glad that many people watched the photos of my father and my parents. Holly, Kai, Freetobe, Jeanne, thanks. I know all of us have to go through it. It is good to have good memories of our parents and also to believe and feel their presence.

Rabia,
thanks. I believe that since you pray the same God for my father, the God would listen to you as it listen to me! I used to work with the girl from Pakistan. We both prayed for each other in spite of the fact that she was Muslim and I am Catholic.

It seems that all the teaching I had in the Roman Church was that God and Allah and the Jewish God are all one, just with dfferent names and our different human intepretations. I see no conflict in praying for one another in different faiths, and if there is a conflict than a God that can creat the world can certainly sort through our confusion. Kai

Kai,
+++I see no conflict in praying for one another in different faiths, and if there is a conflict than a God that can creat the world can certainly sort through our confusion.+++
this is what I meant. We pray to the same God. Maybe I did not put it in the right words, but I did mean we can all pray together. I guess, you just understood it just the opposite...

Eunice
thanks. Did you see the translated poem? Today we all woke up at home before 6 am Idaho time and we prayed for my father who had a funeral at the same time (14 or 2 pm) in Poland.
