Which country is the ONLY country in South America where English is an official languge?

I am guessing it might be Brazil but could be wrong. 2nd guess whould be one of those smal countries in the northern part on the coast.

I was to let others ponder of this, very ,much surprised Leslie was not to pick up on this.
That country is of course {Falkland Islands}. Brazil is Portuguese speaking, the remainder is of Spanish speaking.

It has been so long since my geography class that when I looked at the map of SA I was surprised to see Brazil was where Argentina is. I had them in reverse. Back to the books.

BRAVO!!! Guyana was a British colony. I meet people from Guyana in NYC (they were the children of Indians from India who went to Guyana and then to NYC) .
