This past holiday weekend, what did you cook ?

My family had a cookout with cousins and in-laws all over the place. The BBQ was used to make some items palatable. On the grill we had hot dogs, hamburgers with cheese, bbq chicken thighs, kielbasa, bratwurst and a new sausage that I tried was jalapeno bratwurst. Loved it.

With this there was a fruit salad of strawberries, grapes, blackberries, raspberries, blue berries and sliced bananas. A potato salad, a macaroni salad, a chefs salad and various greens. Much imbibing going on with tales getting better as each hour passed by. Toward the evening you didn't know who or what to believe but we had a hell of a good time !!!!


Since it started to rain we, all 14 of us, sat at the kitchen table.

What a wonderful BBQ and such varieties of food! Every thing sounds so good...Yes, rain on such a day for your BBQ, but sounds that this was not to wet down your fun, for in that stead the sunshine of every one in the kitchen would melt off any gloom...
