Wojtyla was a charismatic men, surrounded by young people durin his trips etc. apparently she wrote a letter which is considered a love letter, but he gave her a religios gift etc.
There were many women who were linked to the pope in more or less personal way, but nothing suggest he ever used any of them for sth more than just friendhip.

You're correct Jaga. I don't believe he was intimate but more as a close friend and associate.

John, yes. Wojtyla was very popular among young people, he loved camping with the youth. Some women influenced his thinking a lot. There was a married woman, who was sick and she was cured after the pope, then the bishop, asked father Pio to pray for her. She was also a survivor of the concentration camp, was married and had children. She influenced him with a very strick interpretation of birth control pills. Karol Wojtyla was an amazing man considering what he had to go through. He lost his mother as a child and his brother to influenca. By the way, my aunt was in a teaching seminary with a girl, who used to be a fiancee of his brother.
