It is not to bad to be looked over by 2 wonen. I am a little bit jealous from this corner of the World John. Seeing it from my single perspective, from more of a single guys environment. I am lucky when I have female company, because I am on my own most of the time. The guys know how to find me for a drink, movie and going out some times. I like it, but would love some girls who like the same things. In my age many of them are mothers, or professionals with limited time. The girls seem more reluctant and choosy. They need more personal attention and care. So, to much testosterone over here! You will do fine over there on that lovely beautiful place in your beautiful North-American continent and nation! Have fun, some good drinks, great food, beautiful views of the ocean and great company.

Weather here is not nearly as nice as it would be next month. Temperature last night dropped to 40 o F and yesterday afternoon the winds were gusting to 40 MPH. This morning at this time it is 43 o and won't warm up any more than 55 or 56. So, it is another day of looking for places to discover. As you may have guessed, it is off season here and things won't open up till Memorial Day on May 30th.

Dear John, That temperatures (I had to recount it to Celcius to understand it) are like mild Dutch winters, very chilly. Hope that the weather turns more warm for you over there. Isn't there anything open all year over there. You must have more off season pubs, restaurants and other places over there. Don't you have charming, little hamlets, villages or little towns? Or do I think to European here? You must be able to get some Atlantic cod on your plate, or do you have to catch the fish yourself? Cranberries, oysters and Lobsters must be on your menue if you have real Cape Cod style dinners. What is it with these horeca people nowadays. In Modern times people go on holiday every week, month and time of the year! I love off season holidays, because I dislike tourist masses John. You made the right decision despite the fact that you must suffer from hunger and thirst over there due to a lack of personel and provisioning. Must we be worried for you John? Or will our good old Marine and his women survive with hunting and fishing! Cheers, Pieter
